Ludlow / Dayton predictions

Featured Replies

Big game with winner trying to get in line for a 2 seed and a possible home game.

I think the 2nd seed is a bit of a stretch here. However, I am going to with Ludlow in this one.

Ludlow 24

Dayton 16

If the Devils have a few of their players back that were out before, I'll take them in a close one. I see this as a win that Dayton could get.

I really have seen Bellevue over the last 3 weeks and they are not turning the corner like yrs past. They are very, very young. Their best athlete is out for the year, (Dylan huff). Ludlow has best athlete not named Vocke in Class A in Chris Yates. Dayton might be getting some of their better players either this week or in 2 weeks.

If Dayton has it's players back that resemble the team that faced Brossart, then Dayton wins by 2 scores, if not then it will be a great one in the fourth quarter.

I have seen all three teams play in Ludlow, Dayton, and Bellevue, none of the three are clearly head and above the others as apparently you think about Bellevue. The 2 seed this year is wide open, and this is the first big game to help decide it. It will come down to which team does better in all three phases in the game on offense, defense, and special teams. It should be a fun battle to watch take place between the three.

I have not gotten to see Ludlow play yet, but will on Friday. I did see Dayton and Bellevue play and based on that, I do not see anything significant to talk about in regards to differences. Regardless, Friday's game between the Devils and Panthers will assist a lot with determining the #2 seed.

I will agree with you that Bellevue is down from what they have been over the last 5 years or so and that most of that is due to inexperience and being young. However, I am not sure which Bellevue team you have been watching over the past 3 weeks. Jordan Fogelman #33, has been their best player by far this season. The Huff kid is a good football player, but Fogelman has carried the team this year.

If Dayton has all their kids back that they played with when they beat Brossart, then I will go with Dayton. Otherwise it is a coin toss. Should be a good three way battle for that second seed.

Fogelman is their leading rusher out of the dreaded Wing-T. He also touches a lot more than Huff. My point was that Huff is the only Bellevue back that is a threat to take it to the house because of his speed and vision. owever, Fogelman doesn't carry the team, it is defenitely been the O-Line opening the holes or not opening the holes.
