Ludlow will fight. They have a good defensive coordinator. I just dont think they have enough. Owen Co 34 to 13.

Look here future. Since you attacked me after the Newport and DHS game, I have made a point to find you and just to ruffle your feathers like it seems that I am doing a good job of. After the 2 weeks that Newport beat up on 2 Class A schools you were ready to crown Coach Rice the king of NKY. I figured that since you were upset by a far less talented team I would mention it. Newport by far has more talent. It looks like he got out coached and the Juggs wanted it more. Not attacking you or Newport. i tend to root for the underdog. i will send a box of tissues to Pompilos for you to pick up. Futurecoach is a big Rice fan! He might be the next in line for the Highlands job. I do not support any team. I just love NKY football. I have an opinion and like others it make have a stink, in your expertise. It is my opinion. But I am pretty sure that I have seen newport in person or on tape and my facts are correct in regards to the number of personal fouls. The leader in state comment was sarcaism due to the number i have seen on tape or in person. Like I said Nicky is a great person and very enthusiastic. However, i think his passion needs to be reeled in, especially when ur a HEAD coach and not a FUTURE coach.

Okay, some say sloppy. i say hard hitting defenses and the weather conditions didnt help. I was at this game and it was the hardest hitting game I seen all year. A lot of turnovers due to helmets on the ball. Tough game. both teams play hard. Dayton in the right direction, thank goodness Deaton is gone!! Question is, how long before Bellevue changes coaches?

Well, 2 huge transfers from Princeton. They do have 3 returning starters on O-Line. All receivers are back, with two RB's back as well. Nick works very hard. However, at some of the games I have seen he has trouble keeping his emotions in check and his players feed off this. That can be positive or negative. He is by far the loudest head coach in Pre game. If you look at the better coaches in NKY, they have a mild temperament. The head coach should be even kiel and keep emotions in check. He is young and has the potential to be a good coach in the future. He is dealt with some depth issues and other issues (grades/transfers/home lives of players) that schools like Bellevue, Dayton, Ludlow, etc have to be concerned with. Good luck to Coach Rice and the Wildcats in the Playoffs.

Lets see! I seen the Breathitt Co. game. 5 personal fouls, Lloyd 5, Dayton game 4, NCC game 3, Holy Cross 3. I have seen tape or been at all these games. Also, at Ludlow game, only 2 and heard 4 at Frankfort. I am sure this leads state. Also, as a coach, not a HOPEFUL, varsity coach, certain stats and facts are offered to us!! How about those apples!!

Beechwood had 3 passing td's. Vocke had 120 yds, officially. Newport, 7-0 at halftime. One td run on 1st teamers. Lloyd, 1 rushing td.

Matt Hundemer was a phenomenal player for Dayton. His leadership was a very intrigual part of that season. He mentored Jerry Cline which led to a very good season for him the following year. Matt had a cannon and a was a great punter.

Dont think Bellevue scores 30. the teams that had scored on DHS have been passing or spread teams, excluding Walton. Even last week DHS did a very good job against Beechwood's running game.

I wish they could return back to the tradition and play twice.

I great memory for me was in 95 DHS had just suspended 15 players. Nobody in NKY gave DHS a chance because of the suspensions. The amazing part of this was with 13 players Dayton upset Bellevue in OT. Coach Smitty said that is when he realized how special the 97 class was. 2nd memory was in 96, the 2nd game was 43-0 in the second quarter. This is when i realized Dayton had a legitimate shot against Beechwood in the regional final (greatest playof game in NKY history).
