yes, Frankfort won the first matchup this year. First time they had won a district game in quite a while. I hear some of the Franklin County players are fighting a stomach bug......looks like Frankfort may have a chance to double-up this year. Should be a good game.

FC simply did not come ready to play..........maybe they thought it was a "sure-thing"??? I will agree the 41st District is more evenly matched this year, but this game was more about FC's poor showing than it was about Frankfort High having the better team. I look forward to the next meeting.

Woodford Co did give the game away, but credit Franklin Co with gutting out a win after being down 10 points late in the 4th Quarter. FC could have very easily thrown in the towel, but played hard and pulled it out. FC's Bell and Roberts held Jay Johnson in check when it counted late.

Coach Morrow at J-Town has to be pretty high on the list. The guy is way too intense!!

If the Johnson kid from Woodford Co can stay out of foul trouble, Woodford is a definite favorite. Look for FC to take it to the basket hoping to draw some early fouls. FC's long range shooters must be on target for FC to win.
