Hate to see SC play their worst game of the year when it mattered most. Heck of a young team they have. They will be back and better than ever. Have a couple of underclassmen that you will open some eyes next year. Kudos to Cov Cath.

I’m surprised by the lopsided results on this poll. It weird how a team that has yet to lose a game to an in state opponent while playing some of the best teams is predicted to lose.

They are so irrelevant that I wasn’t aware. He is a much better talent than Charlotte. I’d like to se him end up at western ky.

I’ll agree SC hasn’t looked as sharp the last few games, but overall they are the best team. Crazy things can happen at any moment. Covington Catholic is very solid. If they meet in the finals and they beat SC I won’t be shocked. With the depth SC has with the ability to guard and shoot the rock I give SC the edge.

Here we go. We were out rebounded all day long and still managed to win. The better team won. Not to mention the two straight possessions Trinity received after jump balls. They tried to give it to Trinity but we wouldn’t allow it to happen.

I was kidding. We don’t need him. I just know people hated when S.C. got transfers, just wanted to have a little fun with it. I’m sure if he went somewhere like LCA, Lex Cath, or Trinity it would be ok though.

Word on the street is that he is headed to SCOTT COUNTY next season.

I mean yeah, but when they separate it would make sense. I’ve never been for splitting the two schools in the first place. I was just making a joke since I would like for the school to stay as it is. Lol

I’ll go with SC of course, but they may be looking ahead to either LCA or MC. Lafayette gave them trouble earlier in the year so I’ll go with The Cards 72-60

The JV score 34 in second half with the running clock. The excitement the young kids showed during the whole half was awesome. That’s the most they have gotten to play in a varsity game. They had fun. Nice seeing that they as well can shoot the three ball well.

It’s the regional tournament. Got to keep the starters fresh. The starters only played the first half. When the JV gets to play a full half in a regional tournament game they aren’t going to take it easy. They want to play. They are excited to finally play on a big stage and will most the most of it.

I believe I saw a tweet the other day mentioning Scott County being apart of the hoop hall as well. It’ll be nice to see some KY schools play some quality opponents

Scott county is by far the best team in the region. I know people hate that Scott county is this good because they are a public school and not private but it is what it is. LCA is a good team, but they aren’t on the level as S.C.

Doesn’t matter. I don’t see anybody beating Scott county. That play too well on defense and play too well on offense to lose to a team from KY.

As a kid I remember a crazy ending to the clay co vs Harlan game in clay during the regional final in the early 90s. May have been 1992. But apparently there was a phantom call at the end that lead to game winning free throws for clay county. Fans erupted and we had to escorted out of the not only the gym but the county. I didn’t know what was going on but my mom tells me the story all the time.

Hopefully the cards can turn things around after a couple of sub par performances ever since they received their #24th national rank.
