Madison Central is coming off a tough one point loss to Letcher Co Central, while Mercer Co is coming off a beating at the hand of Collins, what are your predictions for this game?

Hope this is just a speed bump for mercer, but if they just play with the intesity and focus we saw last night then its going to be a long season for the titans

Considering I havent seen either of these teams play or practice this year, and the fact that Mercer is under a new Head Coach and System, what do you think we should expect in this game? High Scoring, Low Scoring? Standout Players? and of course Who Wins and why?

Congrats to PRP on a great season and congrats to mercer on your chance to bring home your first baseball title, Great Crazy Game and nothing but class from both sides, can't ask for much more. Should be a great championship game tomorrow, anybody have a time? or know if it will possibly be delayed due to the lateness off this games end? just curious

I personally didn't think east was better than mercer either, but the paper said east was number 1 in the district so I threw that in there, I look forward to seeing who the titans face in regions

Great Game to watch.. looked good to see 3 Mercer players on the all tournament team, they got alot of help from many players and i was glad to see them pull off the upset and beat East Jessamine for the District Title, now i just hope they keep their heads on straight and stay focused for regions

Mercer extends its win streak to 5, with a very likely chance to make it 7 in a row to finish out the season and take alot of momentum into the district tourney

It was broadcast in certain areas, like when they were held in Papa Johns it was covered by Insight Cable, and if you had Insight then you could watch the game, they have replays of each game on ihigh.com the day after the games, I dont understand why they just didnt broadcast it??

Greatgame by both teams and ACS showed they can play with the best and proved alot of people wrong, on the other hand congrats to Boyle Co. on how they faced adversity when going into halftime trailing by 7 and being held scoreless in the first half for the first time all season. outstanding performance by Chris Cook as i was at the game and also believed he should have been player of the game, with a forced fumble, TD run, a huge first down run late in the fourth quarter, and the last second interception to end the game. CONGRATS REBELS AND GREAT LUCK NEXT YEAR!!!! You've made your school, fans and entire town very proud!

IMO I believe they should bring someone in outside the Mercer coaching staff. Not saying I do not like Britt Mut, I think most the parents want someone new. I dont really know much about Yeast other than he was an assistant at I believe Lincoln and Marion. Britt was a great RB in high school and as far as I know a pretty good assistant coach, but then again so was Mason. I don't know much than what I have heard on here about Buchanan or Rains but it sounds like they are both very good coaches that can turn programs around which is really what Mercer needs. Given that I don't know much about either of them so I can't say its what Mercer is looking for. Regardless of who we choose, we need to do it by January because these kids need to get to know the coach and become familiar with his system as soon as possible. Typical Yates and the administration lolly gag around until they are forced to "pull a name out of the hat". If I did have a say in who was hired I would prolly go with the hometown coach Buchanan. He has the communities support and I believe he will be taking in with open arms. I believe it will take someone who grew up here and knows Mercer to turn this town and our team around. I'm not sayin he's going to walk in and go 10-0. I believe we will see a drastic change in the first year followed with hopefully more in the second year. Once again this is just my oppinion and I'm sure I'll be bashed for it, but I really do not care.
