  1. Absolutely they are. He's allowed to believe what he wants, but he promotes dissension and hate within our country. It's sad that these guys even get the forum to spew forth their inflammatory rhetoric.
  2. Bill Maher is an atheist. And yes, we have the freedom to worship whatever......
  3. You do know that a lesser man would feel cheapened by your comments? The invite will always be there to leave the "dark side of the force".......By the way, just b/c Ryche and I agree on alot of things doesn't mean that we're brothers necessarily. We are actually quite different from one another, but we do have the transplant thing goin' for "us".
  4. He is the personification of everything that is wrong with this country and is a disgrace to our past and current armed service personnell b/c they are dying so that this man can spew forth his inflammatory anti God rhetoric every week. I do not hate him but rather I feel sorry for his ignorance of the truth.
  5. I have faith that their are individuals that have already devised an adequate criteria for screening those willing to adopt children. I'm sure individuals are screened for their competency. My set of standards would probably be much different than the current system. Much respect needs to be given to any individual willing to adopt. May God bless them.
  6. So now we're drawing lines in the sand, eh? Consider me a neutral party, but I do admit I chuckled at the "us" dig......I'll withhold my grade until Sunday. I expect a 2-3 TD win over Eastern. You're more than welcome to join "us" TBG. We have fun on the southside.
  7. Yes, it is sinful. But so is alot of things we all do as humans. There is no distinction. Sin is sin. And we all sin....
  8. I'm just making it clear that we cannot make the distinction between sin no matter what shape it takes. I am not at liberty to give my opinion on what I would do in that situation. On the surface, I would say that I would discourage the adoption until the parents are fit to raise the child the way he/she was intended to be raised.....
  9. The dysfunction displayed is no different than two alcoholics or two addicted gamblers raising a child. All are equal in my opinion. God made man to be with woman. Nothing more. Nothing less. Any deviation is sin. Doesn't mean that something good can't come out of it....We can only hope.
  10. We learned 6 things from this thread; 1. Highlands is 5-0. 2. Highlands will win state if they stay healthy 3. There are a few Whackem haters out there. 4. Sweeperboy is now Swifferboy. 5. History needs to come out of the closet. 6. Don't get Leatherneck mad at you.
  11. Incredibly astute observation. That is hilarious!:laugh:
  12. It's actually very sanitary and quite easy. I plan on videoing the whole hunt/dress/process in an upcoming clip. I do, in fact, leave the carcass in the field for my tenant to bait in coyotes for their removal. I find it easier to debone and put the meat right in the cooler as opposed to hauling the entire deer home and then having to dispose of the carcass on the side of the road somewhere or have stink up my neighborhood.
  13. I have always said that when deer are locked in on feeding wether on apples, food plots, mineral licks, or acorns, that they seem to let down their guards a bit. I've seen deer extremely wary one day and completely oblivious the next.
  14. Yes, it was his first time and this was our first video clip. We have alot of work to do, but right now we're looking to slice and ice to stock up for the long cold winter. Should have another after this weekend's hunt. Next time you may probably get more than just a silhouette of Whackem'. lol
  15. no, can't tell a thing about you. I have a nice place already in Caketown. The deer you see in my vid aren't city deer. They're extremely wary and tough to hunt. This buck came in with his mind on apples and the wind was perfect for our setup. You should get some pics on here for us, I'd like to see them. We watched this buck struggle with these apples until nightfall. He eventually went over the hill, but it was hilarious watching him try and eat. When we get some rain and the Winter Wheat comes in, they'll have it easier.
  16. I know exactly where Hoge smoked Mr. Big and it ain't in Southern Campbell Co. my friend......
  17. Check out my opening day hunt on video.....My buddy was filming and told me to get ready. This deer was moving after dusk down the freshly sown wheat field that I planted. As soon as the deer was in my wheelhouse, I noticed the forks and I took my bead off of him. I was very dissappointed b/c as you can see, I had a perfect 15 yard quartering away shot on this one....[video=youtube;TZqE-jfwP6A]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZqE-jfwP6A
  18. Ft. Thomas has a different regulation in regards to hunting dates and times.....
  19. Not sure but if he was hunting in Ft. Thomas, he's doing it illegally b/c the season isn't until November and from the looks of that video, the trees were awfully green if you know what I mean......:idunno:
  20. Oh, without question. When you have money, you have prime land. His is in what you describe as Caketown and with recent deregulation in regards to hunting, he is allowed to hunt land that has never been hunted and where deer walk right up to you.
  21. Nice deer. I must say with a hint of sour grapes that it helps to have several acres of land within the city limits that is never hunted to bag a buck like the one shown. But, anyway, I guess a congratulations is in order.:notworthy:
  22. My friend went down my farm last night and put the last of our apples down. 4 does started moving and eventually made it to the apples by dusk. They were right under his climber but too dark to set a pin on. Oh well, I prefer getting it on film anyway, but he was just looking for some meat.
  23. Yes, I bring a cooler and ziploc bags to put the meat in for later processing/wrapping at home. I have a deer hoist that hooks into the receiver hitch of my 4runner and I hang the deer in the field after dressing.
