I was told a parent had a speed gun.

I would say the only ones that would contend with that is Smallwood and Sexton from Dixie. Also Roenker when he's at full strength throws hard.

Some parents on the NCC team said that Cain was hitting close to 88mph today. Is that true?

Great pitching duel between Jake Cain of NCC and Brett Stansberry of Dixie. Jake Cain went 5 complete innings only giving up 1 earned run. Brett Stansbery was one out away from a complete game shut out but young Mr. Hightchiew had something to say about that. Brady with men on 1st and 2nd and 2 outs hits a double down the left field line to win. Congrats Brady! By the way I wasnt at the game today but I was filled in by the Hightchiews and Grays from NCC as they are good family friends. So if i got something wrong on here then its not my fault :thumb:

Best Underclassmen
I dont care what anybody says on here. Blake Tiberi is the real deal and is the best underclassmen in NKY by far. I mean look at his stats for varsity. He is in the top 5 in virtually every category there is pitching and hitting. An absolutely phenomenal player. He is the best underclassmen period.

CCH v. Holy Cross 5/13 Predictions
Krumps could be saving Warning for Dixie tomorrow, even though the game tomorrow isnt a huge game. If Warning does pitch tomorrow then it will be the 3rd time he has faced Dixie this year. He is 2-0 against them as of now. So who knows what Coach Krumps is thinking. Im willing to say Brueggman or Gerwe throws tonight and Warning tomorrow night against Dixie Heights.

As you can tell I am a Dixie fan as my son plays for the freshman team. Also I went to Dixie along with some family. Truthfully I love Dixie but I just want to see a good game of baseball. But I will tell you a good player when I see one. Im not biased on players just given what school they go to.

Summer Baseball
He's a good player. You can tell he's one of the more advanced players in NKY. He has a great fastball with an even better breaking ball. His fastball tops out anywhere from 84-87. His hitting this year is exceptional. Here is his stats straight from cincinnati.com. #7 Sexton, Tyler (Junior) - P Ht: 72", Wt: 200lbs. Tonight Sexton went 2-3 with a double and an rbi. That makes his average now .459 with 14 doubles.

He's a very good ball player. Come his senior year I'd be willing to bet that he will be getting looks by some very good looking D1 schools. But honeslty the only thing I would say is holding him back is he is a freshman.
