John Hardin vs Central Hardin Predictions
GameChanger replied to slobberknocker's topic in KY Football (High School)
That's odd to change so early on, isn't it? -
I agree, they have a nice team and hope they continue to win!
-
I agree that though they have lost some games & aren't beating teams by great margins, this is only half of it. Once the playoffs start & they start playing the teams in their class, we will see a different team.

Playoff Outlook: Class 6A Region 1

I'll take Graves @ Greenwood & Meade @ Henderson. Meade may be the team than no one wants to play right now, they are playing tough! -
Nelson County 14 North Hardin 13

That was the worst NH team that I have seen. They have size, speed & talent, but their strategy was awful. They either ran a draw or threw screen passes over & over again. Why didn't they take any shots downfield with all of those talented receivers? I still can't undeerstand to "pooch" kick @ the end of the game with 30 mph wind at your back. The best thing they have going is youth. -

Pukaski County/Mercer County Predictions

Mercer will get beat. Mason is a better assistant than a head coach! -
Is Nelson County the last school to win the biggest class (old 4A) 6A in 1996, other than those big three?
-
Is this the year that a team besides St. X, Trinity, or Male win the championship in the biggest class in Kentucky H.S. football?
-
Will be anxious to see Butler under center again for Bardstown. I was thinking that he is a freshman? If so, that has to help the future look brighter for the Tigers. Hall is having a great year though and they will need him if they plan on being competetive in the playoffs, especially his punting!

Central Hardin/Meade County Predictions

Meade has been playing tough and their schedule which reflects their record has become a late season advantage. Meade - 28 Central - 21 -
North Hardin/Nelson County Predictions
GameChanger replied to dkm29's topic in KY Football (High School)
I agree on the offense forever changing. Just do something and do it well, rather than doing a bunch of things and executing them half a$%. I was fortunate enough to play H.S. & College ball under some great coaches and it always seemed that we were moving slow @ the start of the season, but continually got better each week and adding wrinkles & plays throughout the season. Most importantly by doing something well, it cuts down on mistakes. A team can play a very mediocre game without any mistakes and it turn out better than playing great with several mistakes. Consistency is the key and seems if Nelson as a team lacks that in all aspects. -
