Tough year for a young Metcalfe team and I have to admire those guys for staying with it and coming out to play every friday night this year.

The final score is somewhat misleading to how close the game was. Monroe actually played decent and Monroe still has the offensive threats. Monroe's O and D line is weaker compare to last year. And the line is where you could say " What Happen to Monroe" . Actually Green's defense look weaker this year compare to last year too.

I would agree with the speed killing Monroe. I think most Monroe Fans know that the falcons have less talent on the offensive and defensive line this year vs. years past. Far as offensive weapons Monroe is still loaded minus the line. The short passes in the flats to the backs was a good offensive plan against Monroe's 5 man defensive line.

I assume that most fans as I do consider Monroe the underdog in this contest. To be the underdog could play in Monroe's favor as in motivation and the need for the falcons to prove that they are a contender in this district. If Monroe can control or stop Mcdermott........ and that is a big if............ the game will be a nail-biter.

Glasgow's defense improved their game and Monroe's defense was a no show. Monroe Co. played the arm tackle defense and it cost them dearly.
