AC-S is on a roll, while Monroe County is reeling of late.

 

How wins this one?

I am a little skeptical on this one. The Patriots are as tough as they come, but then again Monroe will hopefully bring their "A" game. It seems the Falcons have hit a pot hole in the road and lost control. Cruise control will not help them at this point in the season, this game may be a lot closer than anyone will call, so I will! It will be decided early how the Falcons handle diversity. Allen is very tough and grinding, and Monroe's offense is very dangerous when you get 11 guys doing their jobs...Defensively Allen is better, no doubt! Monroe can not stop the run around the ends, no containment! If Allen pounds it down their throats they will slow the game down. If the Falcons get into a rythm offensively, they could do a lot of damage. I just am very worried about Monroe's defense...I am not sure we can get all 11 guys playing the same plays all night! It seems that we have some players that talk a good game and walk with the swagger but don't back it up when it counts!! If Allen decides to get dirty and make some of these guys mad (which is what I hope happens) this could be the FACTOR that we have been waiting for. They play better upset and angry!!! This team is not a mellow and cool squad, they need that little extra to give it 110%!!!

IMO the best shot the Falcons have to disrupt ACS's running game, is to play Hodges and Vickery at nose guard in hopes that their speed and power will get them through the line with better success than our other linemen have been having. To be honest ACS is a juggernaut and it will take a monumental effort to make it a close game, much less win, it will certainly take more grit than the Falcons have shown to date...

Much respect for the Falcons but I have seen AC-S on film a couple games and this game could get ugly. I feel Monroe's offense will score a couple times but their defense will have trouble all night. This game really means nothing for Monroe other than trying to turn things around before the playoffs begin. They have an interesting match-up with Washington County but as far as tonight, I take the Patriots 42, Falcons 14. Sorry Guys !!!
