My 1 kid would over ride all 100 players on my team. If I had to move to be closer to him then those kids will just have to understand and if they don't then maybe their parents can explain it to them.

From what I understand and have been told, Holcomb gets it. He knows family is more important than the money and current job. He has achieved more than he could have ever wanted and I'm sure he is satisfied with his decision he made

Are D-1 Caliber Players Easier To Coach?
That is very very true, especially in lower classes Again very true Again so true Sometimes, most times I type a lot before I think it out or say it the way I want. First off if you have D1 players you need to know how to use them and if you have D1 players all the time, you have to have a system or scheme on how they are used. That's coaching, good coaches know how to use the players and have a good system and know how to work the mediocre kids with the strength of the kids who are D1. I am going to use coach Wolfe as an example and I wouldn't know him I he walked into my church. He knows how to use his talent and has a great system and has the kids to run his system. But yeah he has some exceptional athletes and D1 players. Now could he win 1A at Berea with say a 5'10 185lb tackle and TB who runs a 4.9 But you give him about 3 on the best players off of Males team he may win 1A, because he has stuff to work with. I always thought the beat coaches were those who won with no talent and no players who are good enough to go to college. D1 players make a coach look better unless that coach don't win and there are a few that fit that category. But I want to add that I'm sure coach Wolfe is a very good coach or else he wouldn't have done what he did this yr.

Whats wrong with McPeek. If I read right, he recruited and played an ineligible player he thought was cleared.

Are D-1 Caliber Players Easier To Coach?
I think maybe its easier to coach D1 players based on geography. Many Mountain D1 kids are down to earth and not exposed to the bigger city or crowds some may have. But then again Tony Driver is one of my favorite players and was as down to earth as possible.

I agree, I need to get off the garbage site. Had a great source confirm that it won't be Bert Brown, even though I feel he is a heck of a coach and one that Bell would be lucky to have.

No, I guess it was just rumors being spread. I dont think Bell knows what they are doing or else no one is foolish enough to go there.
