Didn't these two play earlier in the season also, and the score wasn't so close. -
Any word on this game?

As far as I know it's still at 6p at Scott. Last time there was weather like this I believe is when Scott played Bwood and it got switched to the turf field. Hopefully it stays at Scott.

Can everyone please stop looking at last years scores. They mean absolutely nothing. Both are different teams. -
Dixie vs. Holmes predictions

Thanks for some info on Dixie. Holmes' D has good fundamentals I was really impressed with their games against Franklin and Llyod. Their DE's are smart and stay home LB's are big, fast and love to hit. The O is tough to stop if they have a lead like bigmarc said. This is definately a test for the Holmes team, if they can win this I don't see them losing in the regular season. with that being said the coaches will need to channel their attitudes and keep it confident not cocky. -
Dixie vs. Holmes predictions

I think it will be closer than most expect. I haven't seen Dixie play, but the coaching staff for Holmes seems to get these boys prepared for their opponents week in and week out. They have this team believing in themselves. Holmes in a close one. -
ha. I have trouble picturing this one. Didn't think he had bball in him

Franklin County/Holmes Predictions
Off_Constantly replied to jvdfc's topic in KY Football (High School)
I don't know much about Franklin but Holmes is a good team and has a lot of weapons. As a Bulldog Alum I'm going Holmes by a couple. Just out of confidence on this years team -

There was controversey intended the minute you typed it. coach R is a good friend and he is not dirty at all. If you think that then you don't know the man. he cared more about those kids more than some of the parents do. You should really think about the comments you make before hand. -
Any stats? What happened tonight, obviously not to much from Scott

Cooper VS Scott Pedictions (Frosh)
Off_Constantly replied to jcenters's topic in KY Football (High School)
I hear Cooper is real tough but I'm going with the underdog. For the reason that no one gives them a chance. They win this one for coach R -
I know. Bellevue when they did pass had a wide open middle and the corners seemed to get sucked in or they did what they wanted instead of there assignment
-
I hope I'm wrong I really do. it'd be nice to see Scott turn there football program into the right direction, but I don't see it happening. Holmes is a different team than years past. Scott is to 1 dimensional on offense and there defense is more of a break don't bend rather than the other way around. Holmes is to fast for the Eagles and I look for the dawgs to beat them by a least 2 TD's. We'll see in a few weeks
-
That's exactly why I said they can't stop the run. 3 weeks 2 RB's with over 200 yards and another with close to 200 yards.
-
The score of a game has nothing to do with how a team will stack against an opponent. Cooper is a 1 dimensional offense that is tough with a decent defense. They will be in most games. Bellevue has a good offense with suspect D. Holmes has an offense that is hard to key with a D that will smack you in the mouth. Scott has proven the can not stop the run, so guess what there going to see. Scott won't be able to keep up with the speed of Holmes backfield.
-
I agree. No chance Scott will be able to hang with Holmes. Lloyd maybe Harrison maybe. Scott has got to do more offensively than just Sowder. They showed some signs with passing the ball and went right back to him. The last play of the game may have been the worst. Hand of to the younger Sowder to hit his brother on the back side for barely 10 yards. Bellevue new exactly who to key. Scott didn't quit though and have lost 2 heartbreakers back to back hope those boys can keep there heads up and continue competing

Marc what we start in 02. Was that the first game we lost to Boone
