  3. Look for Graves County to be sporting Nike uni's next year and also Mayfield may be wearing USC's jersey style by Nike...not sure of the color though!

  7. Prolly so...NWO---I think I've won at least three contests in 2005 and I won 2 in 2004 that I can recall!!! I LOVE BGP!
  8. I'm doing good in these contests this year! Man it was a close one...congrats to Neerfan also

  10. Congrats to John and good luck on the grind! I think he will do very well for himself!
  11. That doesn't surprise me, but better get this discussion headed in the right direction or I might get myself suspended! I will say I'm glad to get the headaches and their baggage gone from the Cards roster! Fabfour, congrats to your son, I know you are very proud...seemed to me that NCC has a good thing going! I think I speak for the Mayfield fans in saying we got smacked hard by the Breds!
  12. Starting in the fourth grade in Mayfield the kids learn the same base plays and being a smaller school helps some too in my opinion...8 years later you have the same core group running the same plays on Varsity. They have been coached by former Mayfield players who want them to excel! Mayfield always also plays a tough non-district schedule to ready them for the playoffs. Plus the pride of playing for Mayfield is still somewhat loathed after!
  13. KYTMCNCC, We have noticed that all season...a couple of bad apples can affect a whole team! Sad to see, but for the most part the Cards played hard! Congrats to both teams again!
  14. Mayfield loses 12...I think like 8 of those start...hope we reload instead of rebuild!
  15. wildcatjack, David Morris no longer coaches at Mayfield...he took a sales job out of education. He was replaced by Cliff Dew and Joe Waller have joined the Mayfield staff...both are very good coaches!
  16. My thoughts as a Mayfield fan: 1.Congrats NCC---truly dominating, Mr. Diehl throws a great spiral and is a leader! Where is he going to school! Canlafax (sp) is also very good as is Vicars, but hats off to the other WR's and especially the lines who made Mayfield look sillly! 2.Very classy team, fans, and night on an otherwise miserable evening at Papa Johns! Congrats to their legendary coach! :thumb: 3.Mayfield was driving in with momentum and Rust fumbles on the 20, NCC scores in less than a minute---talk about taking the wind out of our sails!!! I don't think Mayfield would of won, but would have been alot closer! Mayfield is ALOT better than they showed Saturday night... 4.NCC did what you have to do to beat Mayfield and I would say we got outdone in every way possible...Mayfield throws 18 times....went away from the run way to early in my opinion! Shelton had no time to even think about throwing! 5.Mayfield has come along way this season and I am very proud of the team for the strides they made final 8 of 200+ is pretty good! However, the attitude and discipline haven't been there and I'll be glad to see the younger guys step up on this team!!! 6.Hope to see the Breds sometime soon!!! :fight: :thumb:
  17. Actually, mexitucky play action is good for Mayfield, but I would say that 60% of the passes Shelton will through will be just 5 to 7 step drops. Mayfield doesn't pass much but Shelton is good enough that play action and just regular drop backs have worked well. Should be a great game and this one could be a shootout or a defensive stalmate....just depends! I say turnovers and whoever has a botched play still is the key especially if it rains! With rain in the forecast---I'll take the Cards by a score 23-16!!! Safe travels to all and....good luck to both!!! :thumb: :ylsuper: :dancingpa
  18. He was better than the guy on their sideline...he threw a flag on our WR from the opposite sidline like 30 yards away! Good point Hearsay!
  19. Yeah...Mayfield will definitely throw some screens and short routes to the tight end and try and expose that if there is a weakness their coaches will find it! I'm gettin excited!!! Go Cards!
  20. I too agree with Toothpick's statements.... From everything I see....NCC is favored in this game by a score....somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-17. Again, I think NCC will be tougher than Bardstown and their schedule has been tougher. However, I think our pass defense must play well and I agree with Westsider that we will have to go play action more often to Brown and McCuiston across the middle! How is NCC special teams---ala kicking and punting? ****I think turnovers and special teams decides this one! My early week prediction: Cards:27 Breds:20 :ylsuper: :thumb:  :fight:
