Mayfield just didn't look ready to play...wasted two timeouts with only ten men on the field in the first half! Poor tackling and our execution was average at best! Oh well, Mayfield had a great year and Danville had alot to do with the way we played. I do not think the Ad's are 27 points better. It was a pleasure to watch those seniors! That group is really fun to watch! Strode is a great back and good luck next week...

I forgot to ask...could someone post some directions to the Stadium of Champions in Danville...some might not know how to get there! Thanks:thumb:

I agree GoBigRed...Coach Harp I'm sure is wondering what Mayfield's new wrinkle will be and can they adjust to it. Mayfield's staff is wondering the same thing this turkey day! I don't think I've ever looked forward to a four hour drive more...Should be a classic!

UCLA is so strong with the basketball, glad to see UK seems to be improving in this area this year also! I agree lots of postives and we must limit Woo, Carter, and minutes for Thomas...let these freshman play!

UK hasn't played bad, if Morris, Stevenson, & Thomas would talk to one another underneath we might switch some and stop them from having layup practice! Just extend em from the basket and we can win this one! I love Porter denying their PG every time til he crosses halfcourt!

UK HAS TO KEEP TEAMS OUT OF THE LANE...UCLA and Depaul shoot layups in there while we run a flex offense and shoot a fade away 15 footer. You can't compete doing that! UCLA is far ahead of us at this point!

Mayfield's ability to pass against the Ad's more so than in the past and their special teams advantage of McNutt & Williams help the Cards pull what is considered a slight upset in Danville Friday...Mayfield is a slugfest! For the last time for a while: Cards-27 Ads-22 :ylsuper: :thumb: :banana:

I know where we can find some smack talk...when LB Logan Armstrong lays it to the Ad's RB...or maybe when the Ads gang tackle Shelton come Friday night...Man it should be a fun game and hard hitting game....I know Mayfield will bring several hundred people up to Danville, I wonder how the Ad's stands will look? I'm loving this weather forecast! Clear and about 50 at kickoff!

I belive Gracscia has like 31 catches for about 700 yds, Sherril has about 25 catches and has good speed. Mayfield will also line up RB Andy Trevarthen and RB Travis Brown up in the slot some. They both run good hard routes and have excellent hands. The one area where this Mayfield team is alot better than last year in my opinion is the passing game and pass blocking. Shelton can throw it if needed!

Brooks says I expected us to be little flat after a big win! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN! YOU GIVE UP 300 RUSHING YARDS TO A 2-7 TEAM. THAT IS PITIFUL...UK IS A DECENT TEAM BUT IS NOT GOOD and won't be til they get a new "D" coach or Brooks steps up and makes a difference.
