I wouldn't bet the house on that one. That sophmore group for Dixie is loaded with talent, and not just on offense either. Their defense is pretty good from what I have seen. Especially at the DB positions. Cohorn is as physical at the safety position as I have seen in a while, and so is Pillman at the linebacker position. I can see this group improving over the next couple years.

Some of you guys just don't get it. The cameraman is not to blame for the loss. There was plenty of game left still left to be played. Both teams played hard, this game was a great game. It's too bad either team lost. That play was a big momentum changing play in the game. There were big plays during the entire game.

I agree! A holding penalty? I have the game on video, watched it numerous times, I can't see anyone holding. The only other player besides #15 for Dixie, is Pike. And the two blocks he made were pretty good hits, not holds. I didn't see any other flags away from the sideline flag. Anyhow, a good game was played tonight. Both teams deserved to win tonight. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs, hopefully a rematch in the playoffs.

The camera guy didn't cost Dixie the game. No argument there. I take it you must be a reporter or cameraman yourself. No offense to your profession, but you guys are constantly beyond your boundaries of where you should be on the sidelines. As the Dixie reciever ran down the sideline, the ref was behind the play and ran into a cameraman, who was, along with other media people, players, etc. caught up in the moment. Before the snap, no one might have been beyond the restricted area. The official admitted after the game that he knew it was a cameraman who had gone beyond the restricted area.

Where does a rule state that the coach is responsible for anyone NOT being associated with his team? This was a cameraman, not a coach or player, nor anyone affiliated with the program. The officiating in N. Ky. this year has been pretty bad. And I thought it couldn't much worse after the Highlands-CovCath game last Saturday! WOW! This official had to know who he ran into, and could have waved off the flag. No, they might not have changed the outcome of the game, but they did play a big part in a momentum swing. :ohbrother::ohbrother:

Our thoghts and prayers go out to the Rudd family. Being a father of one of the Dixie football players, I can see how much they loved Andy. Especially the jv team. My son looked up to him, not only as a coach, but as a person. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. May God be with you always and forever Andy.

Talked to him on Tuesday this week. He should be in school there by Feb.2010. He'll enroll and red shirt next year. He talked to Austin Hill on Monday, still at So. Illinois and doing good there.
