According to some screwy glitch in this year's playoffs, one team in the third district gets to have a bye and one team gets to play the #5 team from the Northern KY district. However, #1 PRP DOES NOT GET THE BYE.....for some reason, the KHSAA is giving the BYE to the #2 seed Butler and making #1 PRP play Boone County.... Supposedly winning the district is supposed to give a team the easiest way to advance to the next round, but this year, being the district runner up in 6A-District 3 gives you an edge over the district champion.... Do you hear the laughing coming down Dixie Highway in Louisville?

Shawnee does not fit geographically in your new 24th...that's old 6th region NW Louisville with old 7th region SE-south central Louisville

They are on the KHSAA website...it is a little convoluted to find...So here it is for you. D1 vs D5, D2 vs D3, D6 vs D7, D4 vs D8. PRP looks to get a bye first week because D2 only has 2 teams....Butler will play the 5th place team from D6.

PRP wins easily in this Thursday night game at Seneca. Each of the first 2 possessions for PRP took only 2 plays. PRP scored their first touchdown in less than 50 seconds. With 9:30 left in the first quarter, it was 14-0. PRP then recovered a fumble and three plays later kicked a field goal to lead 17-0. Seneca did not get a first down until 9:11 left in the second quarter. PRP led 30-0 at halftime. PRP (7-0) hosts Butler (6-1) next Week for the District Championship and a first round bye in the state 6A playoffs.

Military appreciation day at PRP. All veterans and active duty members of the military are admitted free to the game when dressed in military attire. Ceremony at halftime to honor service to the country.

PRP wins at Manual in a shootout. PRP goes up 12-0 after taking the opening kickoff on a nice drive down the field and then recovering a Manual fumble.

Interesting....8th region officials are officiating the 6th region this year.....Bullitt East used to be part of the 8th Region up until about 3 or 4 years ago....

21st District set in 6th region...#1 PRP vs. #4 Beth Haven - #5 Valley winner. #2 Fairdale vs. #3 Louisville Holy Cross

Really good game. JV game just before it was good too. PRP won 47-46. This should become a yearly series on the schedule.

Sophomores Antonio McDaniels and Lamontray Harris lead the way with 22 and 17 points respectively while Bellarmine signee Max Clemons adds 16 points and 13 rebounds.

PRP has a dominating performance, committing only 7 fouls in the second half while playing all 13 dressed players.

Chicago team really played rough. They were called for 3 technical fouls and an intentional foul in the 3rd quarter alone.

Thanks...I thought it was closed because of the parentheses around GA. When I reread the rules it said no ( ) in the main thread title. If indeed, PRP needs to be written out, could a moderator please change the title for me? Thanks!

PRP defeated Thomasville GA 80-40, in the King of the Bluegrass, limiting Thomasville to only 12 second half points. PRP plays Louisville Eastern at 3:00 on Wednesday at Fairdale in the Consolation Final.

PRP won despite playing without Jeril Taylor (who was injured during 1st round loss to Christ Presbyterian out of Nashville (TN) ). PRP will play winner of Dixie Heights-Thomasville (GA) on Tuesday at 7:30.

Wow....New 6th region is really loaded....5 teams in the top 10. Bullitt East, Moore and PRP all are in the King of the Bluegrass this week too (and could meet also in the LIT). Moore plays at PRP in February and has already beaten Butler. PRP has already beaten Butler and Jtown. Tougher region than the 7th?

Senior Max Clemons had 26 points, 10 rebounds to lead the Panthers. Jtown led by 6 at the end of 3 quarters. PRP was 22-26 from the line for the night.
