  1. Thanks for the 411:clap:
  2. I may have to look into buying a house in Northern KY...lol My son loves baseball and it bothers me I cannot find a team for him in my area to play fall ball. He has me out at the field almost every day Pitching BP and playing catch.. It is awful when it hits you that age has crept up on ya...lol I feel it every morning. To quote my son "one more race around the bases Dad" LOL
  3. Okay humor me for a second or three... Set aside the "alleged investigation" for the time being. It is awful that we (humans) are so cynical. I think we should all be wishing the Terry family the best. It is not inconceivable that Mrs. Terry lost her job (which should be a private matter) and had to move. What is the jobless rate up to in the tri-state area/country? I see nothing wrong with the boys mentioned in prior threads touring other schools. We allow our children to preview colleges to pick the one they feel is best suited to match their needs and personalities. These boys know that they may have to sit a year and if they and their parents are willing to take that route more power to them. I think it is more reprehensible for parents to hold their children back so that they are awarded a starting position, able to mature a year more, be stronger, faster, or whatever the pathetic excuse may be. To the Rose Hill boys - keep looking and where ever your feet land I am sure you all will enjoy your new surroundings and excel both academically and athletically.
  4. Did I overlook a "please" in this statement?
  5. Then followed Ashton Kutcher, or Dick Clark & Ed McMahon I get my Celebrities mixed up.
  6. And why did two of them walk into a certain classroom during school hours to get permission to join the football team when their transfer is complete? Seems even Ashton Kutcher would not go to these lengths to create a "prank" Oh wait I see the TV cameras are we being Punk'd? LOL
  7. My Worst High School football memory --> Was fumbling five times in a single game, I played FB and was a bruiser of a runner at 5'9 240 lbs I could run a 4.7 - 40 and being somewhat of fat kid I always felt as if I had to prove myself and I did not want to be embarrassed by being taken down by a 5'7 165 lbs safety...lol (gang tackle or bust) Instead I embarrassed myself by fumbling 5 times. We lost that came 24-10 My favorite memory --> Scoring four TD's in a single and setting my schools single game record...(Record was broke 3 years later, but it was nice while it lasted) My stat line was 5 carries 9 yards 4 touchdowns.
  8. What teams are playing in the earlier games this weekend? I know Rams vs West Carter.
  9. What rumors?
  10. Never mind I am moving up...lol
  11. How many post before I ditch the rookie status?
  12. May have to re-open the old school...LOL
  13. Two new additions to the program? I hear Corey Gregg and Kyle Bush from Rose Hill are interested in suiting up for the Rams.
  14. So True; Mike was a valuable piece and we can expect good things from him in the future, but Corey was by far the better player and maybe the best in the area. Well at least top 5.
  15. Does it really matter? Is everyone's lives changed because a 15/16 yr old has moved schools? Where ever he is attending I am sure we as fans of basketball will be treated to a few tomahawk poster shots, and I will be the first in line to get an autograph; that I will save and cherish until its value skyrockets via EBay....
  16. Why not go to the source and ask the admin, coach, or players at Rose Hill? Why sit and speculate? “Any fact that needs to be disclosed should be put out now or as quickly as possible, because otherwise the bleeding will not end.” ~Henry Kissinger
  17. We cannot forget that our sons and daughters are STUDENT-athletes, when I was coaching I always stressed school work before field work. We even set aside time to help our students with their school work before football practice began.
  18. I have only lived in the area for 6-7 years and in my opinion the reason Raceland seems to acquire a number of transfers, starts in the classroom with the reputation the fine men and women have built by doing an outstanding job teaching our children. Just a quick shout out to the Football staff in the classroom (teachers), keep up the great work.
  19. I would have to agree that by now the coaches know who is starting. IMO Tyler Farley should be the starter the young man has been there since JFL(just a guess, I know he played middle school for the Rams) He saw playing time last year and knows the system and the tradition. But then if Rister starts it will go to show why I am on BGP's typing and not on the sidelines coaching...lol
  20. Hey, Looking for a fall team in the Greenup, Boyd, or Carter county area and contact info would be great. ( my son is 15 and a sophomore.)

  22. 1. Rose Hill 2. Ashland 3. East 4. Fairview 5. Elliott I would say Rose Hill would have to be the favorite; Size, Athletism, and team chemistry. Not to mention the two best players in the area, in Gregg and Terry... With a nice up and comming PG in K. Bush. Plus more size down low with Kenndey, if he concentrates on going up strong and less fade aways
  23. Nice to see J. Kitchen at practice he is going to make a nice addition to the team...He is a good player, very coachable, and dedicated to the game we all love....Best of luck to him and the Rams...
  24. I was at practice last week and noticed a few boys were MIA, I didn't see Barr, Nethercutt, or Kelly -summer vacations?
