You can talk about records from the past 5 seasons all you want. If Boone and Ryle played the crap teams Sk plays every year they'd lose 2 games a year tops. Play Highlands and Anderson and some teams that are actually good then i wanna hear about records in the past 5 years. But hey if Boone and Ryle sucked every year like Sk does i'd be pretty excited about last year also. Just remember it's easy to have one good year when you play NOBODY!

All of you Sk fans have no knowledge at all. You have ONE good year, ONE!! Wow it's about time. Teams like Boone and Ryle are good nearly every year. Boone's had more district championships in the past decade than Sk has had in there history. There should be no talk about the Sk Ryle game this year because it won't be a game at all. All of you Sk fans will probably be gone after the first half anyway you'll be getting beat so bad. Sk= OVERRATED

1. Highlands- Best team in Northern Kentucky every year. 2. Ryle- Alot of players are returning, easily will win there district this season. Elliot is back at running back, also returning there Qb. 3. NCC- 4. Boone County- Returning alot of players this season. Look to get things back on track. Great team year in and year out except for last season when they had an extremely tough schedule and never got things rolling. 5. Simon Kenton- Over-rated. They had a good year last year. For the first time in forever. They will be decent this year but defiantly no district championship or even runner-up for that matter. Lawrence is a good Qb but they can't replace Simpson, or even there ENTIRE offensive line for that matter. You say there Jv team went 6-2 last year? Last time i checked Jv ment absolutely nothing every year. 6. Dixie- They never live up to there expectations. Everyone gets hyped up about them every year but they never live up to there expectations. 7. Beechwood- Always decent year in and year out. Should have a pretty good season. 8. Cov Cath 9. Campbell County- Returning there great Qb this year. Should finish 4th in their district behind Simon Kenton. 10. Holmes

It is even going on in with their 7th grade team. After Ockerman beat them in the regular season one of their guards gave the Ockerman crowd the middle finger. Then in the championship game the same kid was cussing at a parent in the stands. The program does not know how to lose with class.

Seen them in Pittsburgh on the Diver Down and 1984 tours. Then seen them 2 times on the reunion tour. With Mikey they are awesome without him I think they just don't have the same sound.

If Boone hits foul shots they probably could have won the game. Not exectly sure what their stats were from the line, but I would guess about 20%.

I actually got together with a girl I sat beside due to our last names all through Middle and High School. She was the Prom Queen/ cheerleader girl. She looked good then and still looks good now. We connected on Facebook back in September and it's been going great since. By the way we graduated in 1981.

Holmes 7th grade beat Tichenor bad and Ockerman beat Turkeyfoot 42- 29. Game was very close in the first half.

Another band was Molly Hatchet, Danny Joe Brown could not be replaced. Jimmy Farrar had a couple of good songs with them but DJB's vocals were a huge part of the sound of that band. Now they have no original members in the band and still tour under the Molly Hatchet name, what a joke that is.

I think Journey is Perry and Schon, without one or the other it is just either a cover band or a Steve Perry Solo album. I do think VH was still a great band with Hagar, the 4 releases they put out were some of the best they did. Diver Down was just as bad as VHIII, a very weak album. 1984 had one of their best songs Drop Dead Legs too bad they never played the song live. Nothing will ever compare to the energy they had on Fair Warning though. They will never be the same without Mikey in the band though. At least with Sammy they changed the set list up some from show to show with DLR it was the exact same show every time, same songs, same order and same BS in between.

I'm a parent on the Ockerman team and we were in Lexington. We were not allowed to play due to the weather in Boone County, does not make too much sense to me. We even went over to KBA to watch some games on Friday night. It was a very disappointing trip. The boys were there and ready to play but we were not allowed. I do also believe there was a wrestling tournament going on and Ryle was not allowed to participate in it also. So I am not sure how Connor was able to play unless they went against the Superintendent. I do think we would have played on Sunday and from then on it was up in the air. There were some very good looking teams. Hopefully next year we will have a chance again.

Ryle will get completely destroyed. Bluebirds are a much better team.
