  1. Just my opinion ; Time is on my side. I'm not taking anything away from Beechwood; but in the bigger picture; I believe the it will all be played out. This post is in no way a knock against Beechwood. A win is a win and well deserved. Beechwood hit well and outplayed my Colonels. I tip my hat Coach M. . Please do not start a revolt beechwood.
  2. Cov Cath will prevail. We are playing flat;bit when push comes to shove this is our year to surprise,
  3. Krumps playing Beechwood like a fiddle. He knows we are going to play Beechwood again and never showed BWD anything. Congrats to Beechwood but believe you me; Krumps knows when to hold and when to fold.
  4. Glad to hear. Long way back and hard work paid off. Congrats.
  5. CCH will win in 5 innings if today's game is played. I was told they are fielding poorly which is unsual for a Myerhoff team. Who starts for Colonels/tigers today?
  6. Looking ahead to BW. I'm sure Krumps let them have it after this one. Congrats to St. Henry.
  7. The Tigers are killing us. A cold beer and and a hot dog what a combination. The amount of rain we have had; 9th region fans should bow down to Freedom and play all day Saturday and Sundays to catch up. Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Freedom.
  8. Please do not bring the CCH class into this. We are way above that,.
  9. A home run is a home run period . Inside the park or out of the park. Just my Cov Cath opinion.
  10. O'Conner was a 1976 Latin grad and redshirted his first year at Thomas More. I don't believe his Latin teams made it out of the districts. Stower's class may be the only one that may have made it.
  11. Lauren O'Conner officially signed her letter of intent yesterday at Scott High School to play volleyball at the University of Kentucky. The following is a link to the press release from UK for the Class of 2011. http://www.ukathletics.com/sports/w-volley/spec-rel/111510aaa.html Congrats Lauren!! :ylsuper: :ylsuper:
  12. Very sorry to hear that about Lauren! Lauren is definitely one of the best high school volleyball player ever to come out of Northern Kentucky and will have a very bright future at UK!
  13. PrepVolleyball.com is proud to present its Senior Aces, the top 250 volleyball recruits in the Class of 2011. We’ve been working hard since May to identify and compile a list of the best American recruits in the next senior class. The sole criterion was potential impact over four years at the next level. High school achievement was not a factor nor was the university they would attend. Compiling the list has been an arduous task. I have a contact list of about 120 college coaches who have asked to be involved in the process. They received the initial list of several hundred names May 19 for comment and at least three more times thereafter. The top 100 list was finalized last week after an hour-long talk with my “closer,” a coach I rely on to make the final close calls. To date, more than 90 coaches have participated. While I can’t reveal their names, I can assure you that I received input from the four corners of this country and many places in between. The college coaches themselves are solely responsible for the names on this list. PrepVolleyball.com’s only role was to act as facilitator. What this list represents is the best effort of some of America ’s most fertile volleyball minds to identify the top recruits at a snapshot in time. Nothing more. Nothing less. I thank profusely the college coaches who participated. This list would not be possible without you. 31. Lauren O’Conner, 6-5 OH, Scott (Taylor Mill KY), NKYVC -- Kentucky Originally a middle blocker, O’Conner has developed the game to be a dominant outside hitter at the college level. So tall so young, she is still growing into her frame. When her strength catches up to her height, not even the sky will limit her. She has a natural touch and feel for all aspects of the game and is quite a nice athlete for one so tall. She committed early to Kentucky and will be the first home grown attacker to sign with the Wildcats in the Craig Skinner era. O’Conner will enroll in the spring of 2011 and is bound to make a big name for herself in the Blue & White. Congratulations Lauren!! Tremendous accomplishment!!
  14. One lucky game and now there contenders. We all gave credit for the miracle. Harrison County two straight.:thumb::thumb:
  15. I've got to know who hits the golf ball farther Dad or son?:lol:
  16. Isler did not receive award because this would hurt Luke's chance to be Mr. Baseball in Ky. Just my opinion. Anybody else?
  17.: Keep your heads high Colonels. Beechwood played the dream game and earned it. Seniors good luck in future. The Colonel Crazies were awesome as usual. Noisy and spirited. :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
  18. Freedom needs to rethink this synthetic mounds. I watched all 4 games yesterday and I've never seen so many balls get past the catchers. The pitchers struggled with their plant feet and the ball would not bounce up. A tru dirt mound would be very beneficail and really not that hard to take care of. Another complaint on being at Freedom all day. The cost of a fountain drink is 3.00. A little steep. Thirsty Thursday beers for a buck. I may be a little cheap but 3.00 is pretty high. Shame on Freedom!:eyeonyou::eyeonyou:
  19. You're absolutely correct. Colv Cath has already locked up 9th region. New cath will not even compete without Connor on the mound. Conner will pitch number 2 pitcher against Beechwood and Myerhoff is handing the ball toanother sophomore. Bob aka "Kenny Rogers The Gambler" Myerhoff is drawing into an inside straight again. Beechwood got lucky yestersay ; but will not happen twice.
