  1. Wow! Congratulations! By the way, nice win last night!
  2. This game was never in doubt as the Lady Raiders led 13-4 after the 1st quarter. They put on a defensive clinic in the 3rd quarter to seal the victory.
  3. Final from Lexington. Ryle improves to 10-3 after being led by Ashley Cheeseman and Dawn Jojnson with 20 and 15 points respectively.
  4. As I have said on prrevious posts, the Pandas are poised to make some noise this year. Sounds like it was an exciting game. Congratulations to both teams!
  5. St. Henry has a nice squad this year as does NCC. You did give Ryle fits in the Regionals last year but didn't Ryle hand St. Henry their worse loss of the year at Mercer County last year? My point is this. On any given night anybody can beat anybody. I think that NCC and St. Henry will be a great game. Good Luck!
  6. IMO Boone was a much better team last year than this year. Ryle has basically the same lineup as last year's team and is playing well. The 3 losses to Boone last year were all nailbiters, including the loss in the 9th Region finals. They need to figure out how to beat Boone and teams like Boone during crunch-time. No knock on Boone or any other team, just my opinion. As a side note, all it takes too stir up the BGPers is to mention Ryle and Boone in the same thread.
  7. No real suprises to me. Boone. Ryle, NCC, St. Henry leading the pack. Boone and Ryle both play brutal schedules. Dixie and Campbell Co. are having nice seasons but, I too, question the strength of their schedules. Things should get interesting with all the Holiday Tournaments over and teams getting into District and Region play. Notre Dame is still an enigma to me. I still feel they will be contenders at tourney time. Ryle has to learn how to beat Boone. Ryle is still the team to beat in the 9th this year. Tons of talent and athleticism.
  8. Thank's for the link. I like these rankings better:)
  9. I'm sure they look at the season as a whole, so far.
  10. Also, Notre Dame Acadamy is #27 and Walton Verona is #31. Pretty nice showing for Northern Kentucky.
  11. Here are the latest Rankings in Girls H.S. Basketball: 1. DuPont Manual 2. Mercy 3. Bowling Green 4. Rockcastle Co. 5. Boone Co. 6. Elizabethtown 7. Lou. Butler 8. Sacred Heart (Lou.) 9. Ryle 16.Madison Central 17.Newport Central Catholic 18.Anderson Co. 19.Franklin Co. 20.Scott Co. 21.Franklin-Simpson 22.Lincoln Co. 23.St. Henry 24.Grayson Co. 25.Woodford Co. http://www.maxpreps.com/rankings/gir...e/kentucky.htm
  12. Should be a great game, hope Mother Nature doesn't interfere.
  13. UC,Memphis, WKU, EKU, FIU, Ball State, Bowling Green, to name a few.
  14. Jenna's having a nice year so far. 9 double doubles,in 12 games. Quite a few D1 offers, no decision yet.
  15. No, Abby is their starting point guard.
  16. Ryle was led be Jenna Crittendon's 22 points and 15 rebounds. Outstanding team effort turned in by the Lady Raiders. Big games from Cheeseman, Johnson and Jump, as well. A very competitive game through 2 1/2 quarters. Conner has some serious shooters if left alone. Ryle's defense clamped down in the 2nd half and their athleticism was the biggest difference.
  17. Final score from Hebron.
  18. Can you tell I've been a little bored on BGP?
  19. Any thoughts on how this one will play out?
  20. The latest Florida poll before the start of the tournament had them 13th with a 13-1 record entering the tournament.
