  1. I read her stats too WVFrank, but I can assure you she is much taller than I am and I'm 6'5".
  2. Ryle lost to one of the best teams in the State of Pennsylvania and beat the #5 and the #13 teams in the State of Florida. A very nice showing after a nice showing last week in Lexington at the Republic Bank Classic. They are getting battle tested and getting ready for District play. Very proud and happy for these young ladies.
  3. Fundraisers. The girls worked very hard selling spirit wear and program ads. Coach Oliverio has really pushed this since taking over the program and the girls and supporters have responded.
  4. Sounds like a great game. I saw Miss Greenwell play as a Freshman as was very impressed!
  5. Ryle moves to 8-3 on the season against some very strong competition.
  6. Ryle wins a double overtime thriller with Jenna Crittendon's 27 points, 14 rebounds, and Abby Jump's 16 points leading the way. #40 for Dwyer is 6'8".
  7. When Ryle comes ready to play they cam compete with anyone. It's still early in the season, hopefully the consistency will come.
  8. Final score from the Basketball Brothers Invitational in Ft. Meyers, Fl. Ryle was led by Jenna Crittendon's 23 points and 13 rebounds.
  9. I don't know who Ryle played today in the Basketball Brothers, Inc. Invitational in Ft. Meyers but I do know they won by 12 with Jenna Crittendon scoring 23 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. As i get more details, I will post them.
  10. I will say that this one suprised me. More the final score than the fact that Walton-Verona won at home. Congratulations to the Lady Bearcats.
  11. A very nice showing by 9th Region teams at the Republic Bank Classic. Congratulations to all of the young ladies.
  12. Thank you and I think she is ok. Has a headache:) Ryle does everything all out. Good girls and a fun team to watch. Maximum effort is their mantra.
  13. Jenna played a total of maybe 3 minutes. 2 quick fouls had her on the bench for 13 minutes of the 1st half and in the 1st minute of the 3rd quarter she went down hard on the back of her neck and head grabbing a rebound and was out the rest of the game. I think she is ok but is still going to the Doctor's as a precaution. The rest of the team really picked up their game after losing Jenna and came back from a 14-5 deficit to take a 4 point lead into halftime. They held Franklin County scoreless the 1st ten plus minutes of the second half. They were up 9 with less than a minute to go when Franklin County hit a couple of late 3's to get to the final score. Ryle had a great overall tournament going 3-1 and IMO is the favorite to win the 9th Region this year. I love NDA and NCC and Boone has Sydney but Ryle is the best I have seen in the 9th this year and is a legitimate Top 5 in the State.
  14. Final from Republic Bank Classic in Lexington.
  15. IMO, these games don't mean much other than to gauge where your team is at this early point in the season. It is also a nice way to showcase the girls to all of the recruiters who attend these events. Anderson County and NCC are both very nice programs who are well coached. By the time March rolls around they both shoulsd make some noise in their respective regions.
  16. I was having a hard time spelling this morning. Sophomore, and and line. Sorry:)
  17. 15 of the States top 25 teams have participated in this prestegious tournament with a number of teams and players having incredible performances. In reading the Louisville Courier-Journal online this morning Jody Demling highlighted some of the great games and performances. One players statistics really stood out to me. Owensboro Catholic's 6'1" Spohomore Becca Grenwell is averaging 38.7 points per game in the 3 games her team has played. Pretty impressive against the level of talent she has played against. Overall it has been another great tournament with a number of Northern Kentucky teams having impressive performances, as well. Boone's Sydney Moss anf Ryle's Jenna Crittendon have both had outstanding tournaments and should be in linf for all tournament team selections.
  18. Ryle was led by Jenna Crittendon with 17 points and 11 rebounds.
  19. Final from Republic Bank Classic in Lexington. Boone was led by Sydney Moss with 21 points.
