The bottom line is Kentucky needed a group of guys that could pressure Indiana. They needed to speed the game up. However they played a half court game with them. They knew the personnel of Indiana before the tryouts. This is why I believe the roster was not the best to beat Indiana. I like Wilson (Central), A.Wilson (Fulton Co), Hood, and Sanford in the system it would take to beat Indiana. As well as Mosley (Moore), Dowe (Eastern), and even one of the Faulkners.
I think you had to pressure Indiana and turn it into a pressure game, wear Hulls down. I really thought Brown and Jordan were the only penetrators Indiana had.
You pressure them full and make them play fast. You create points with defense and then you spread the floor and slash with everyone. Both Wilsons can do this.
But you have to have guys who can create and score and we did not have that. WE needed Mosley
