The last coach was let go because it was time for him to go. This scenario is nothing like the last one. And the way the last coach has been acting it was clearly the right choice.

You didnt see that on CCH sidelines. Those kids would run through a brick wall for not just their head coach but every asst on the staff. All are well liked. The staff they have put together is very special. They work together well. I was a fan of Mike Listermans but you never saw the respect you see today back when he coached the kids. Lots of pouting, not giving hand slaps as they came off the court, on and on. Coach Ruthsatz has created a monster and Coach B has some big shoes to fill. He will do fine.

This has all been in the works. Tony B left a good job at TQL to get back into teaching knowing full well that Scott was leaving and you have to be a teacher at CCH to be considered for the head job. Tony B doesn't leave a great job at TQL unless he knows this going to happen. Tony B teaches there now and if things worked out (as they have) the job is his. Tony will have Scotts recommendation for the position. Tony was varsity assistant head coach so to speak this year. Will be an easy transition. Pretty sure all the rest of the coaches will stay on Tonys staff. Tony is well thought of at CCH and has done a good job. Ladies and gentleman meet the new CCH head coach, Tony B. Good luck Scott and thanks for everything. Great guy, great family guy, great coach. We were lucky to have had him. Tony B will do just fine.

What you are missing is that Cole is a 15 year old freshman who will improve every year and that Gilbert is a one man show who doesn't make his team better around him like Cole. Gilbert can shoot. Thats it. Cole will be light years ahead of where Gilbert is now.

the poster didnt say anything about his record. He said he is a cry baby (which he is), said he whines and cries about every call (which he does) and Embarrassing (which he should be). I feel for his assistant coach whom he cries to on every call. They guy just looks at him like he is nuts. A bit to theatrical.

Yes good point. But I am telling you on the defensive side and overall basketball smarts they are way better than what they have shown. I have seen some horrible defense from a great defensive team. Some really really stupid fouls where kids are missing minutes because of it and turnovers this team just doesn't normally make. Watch out if this team starts playing on all cylinders. Like the song on the pre and post game cch radio broadcast says, "I got a feeling, that tonights gonna be a good night", Tonights the night!!!!!!!"

I really don't think so. CCH was a much better team than both of these teams they played. CCH defense has not been what it has been. Big stage, huge games. Not an easy task. I really really think they will bust out tomorrow night and play a full game. Someone has to tell Mr Shuh to be smarter about his fouls. Go Big Blue!!!

Cov Cath has not played a good game yet. That is a good thing. This team is going to bust out tomorrow night and roll into the finals.

Watched it online. Poorest defensive effort I have seen out of CCH all year. If they don't play a whole lot better tomorrow they will loose. Lucky they won with how they played. Bo Shuh might commit some of the most foolish fouls I have ever seen. When will he ever learn?

This year? No doubt will be watching the Colonel Crazies. These kids have so much fun and EVERYONE enjoys them as well. Heck, they made up an award for them last time they were there. They get the whole place participating. It is what high school sports should be. Disappointing no other school even comes close. They will be fired up this year.
