Do you seriously think that Duvall, Jones, or Holland would leave their schools to go to Walton? Duvall is from Owen County. Jones is from Gallatin County. And Holland has a pretty good thing going on at Henry County.

Owen matches up with Anderson better than most people think. They match up height wise with the guards and when Anderson brings in Humphries to go along with Russell and Penny, then Owen can bring in Sawyer Williams. Penny and Russell will get their 20 and 15. But if the Rebels can limit what Jenkins, Ruggles, and Humphries do, then I think they have a legitamate shot to win.

What about Lafayette over Franklin that was a bigger upset than Owen over Anderson would be. Its a long shot but it will be a test of heart for Owen to pull this upset.

Any predictions about Monday nights game. Owen played Anderson within 1 point at the half before a poor 3rd quarter where Anderson beat them 22 to 6. After the 3rd Owen never could overcome the deficit, but I beleive the rebels will come out ready to play all 4 quarters in this game. Should be a good game to watch.

That is correct, Gamble only took two shots and both of them where contested.

WOW... Big upset, now Lex. Catholic is the only team with a shot to take down Scott County. Thats if Henry Clay doesn't upset them in the 1st round.

Owen missed numerous free throws to seal the game but in the end they were the tougher team and at this point of the season any team will take the win no matter how close it was.

This game all depends on the post play of Owen County if they come ready to crash the boards and finish strong around the rim, Owen is a very tough team to defend. :thumb:

Sounds like Anderson is playin real well. Nice win for them, seems to be winning easily.

In the 8th region, freshmen, Sawyer Williams has provided Owen County with a huge spark off the bench.

They both won on each other's home courts. Should be an interesting game.

I would like to see Owen and Grant play a game like they did the first time these two teams met. They both ran up and down the floor and shot layups. It was fun to watch.

I watched Owen County play LCC at the Kentucky Bank Shootout. Owen played a good game but LCC still won by 10. They have alot of talent on this team. Profit and Blair are two of the quickest guards I've seen this year.

Owen is starting to heat up!!!

The 7th is wide open IMO between the Big 3 (J-town, Eastern, Ballard). If Jenkins is healthy then Manual may make a run, though.

I see Adair County rebounding from this loss and winning the 5th Region, once again.

Nice win for LCC. Correct if I'm wrong, but didn't KCC beat them twice in the regular season?
