For the last couple of years Henry Clay has been as good anyone except for Trinity. Henry Clay seems to have problems when a team can throw the ball on them a little bit but if they can bunch up in the box and only have to worrie about giving up 17-21pts or so and with Henry Clay's explosive offense they can play or beat anyone.

Highlands, no doubt. The away teams sideline and the home crowd stand next to one another for 48 minutes :scared:

I've seen PRP in person the last couple of years and I can honestly say they have been overrated at times. I've seen Ryle play the following week after PRP for the last two seasons and PRP is no where near as good as Ryle has been the past two years. And I know PRP could not have stayed with in 3 touchdowns of Henry Clay the past two years. They are a good team but not great.

When comparing Brohm to Couch. If the argument is "Could Couch have beaten Male with Trinity's team instead of Brohm?" which is a good point. In fairness you have to ask could Brohm have gone to Leslie and beaten Highlands or Cov. Cath basically by himself. I'm not sure on Couch beating Male or not, honestly I think that is more likely because if Trinity played Male again I really doubt they would have given up 56 pts again. But I see Brohm getting hit so quick in the backfield by Highlands or Cov. Cath before he could even get rid of the ball with Leslie County blockers. If you are gonna put Couch at Trinity, you better put Brohm at Leslie.

#21 played a solid game as well. But I think #2 is going to Tennessee if I'm not mistaken and I can see why.

They rotated in with #2 and #21.

Tennessee was running all over Kentucky late in the 2nd quarter with their tailback #2 and for some reason he sat the bench most of the second half or did not get many carries and Kentucky came storming back. The main reason Kentucky only scored 10 points in the first half was not because of poor offense it was because the defense couldn't get off the field because #2 for Tennessee was killing them. I honestly thought he was the best player for either team but Kentucky gave the ball to their athletes and Tennessee only did it for a half.

They are missing some games on certain teams as of right now. Here is Dunbar's complete schedule if they need it to fill in the rest. My point being I would trust someone who has benched over 400 lbs. in his life with a weightliting program over people who just spout off saying his program stinks with no knowledge of what they do.

I hate thes polls. For example 2005 PRP, is ahead of John Hardin and Dunbar and PRP lost to these two schools by a combined 38pts. Its hard to imagine PRP deserves to be a head of both of those schools.

Since Jerrell is the tailback I'm a little confused on the fullback trap in the tates creek game especially since Dunbar was running stretch. Why don't you come to Hensley's office and tell him that, or have you all ready been there?

Well, if you know better than Dunbars staff I'm all ears. What did Dunbar do this year that was so poorly coached and would have helped the players to be in better situations? If the coaching staff lost 9 games on bad coaching I would love to hear what the coaching staff did that was so awful?

I agree that you make some good points but here is one for the other side. 2005 St. X 28, PRP 21 Male 42, PRP 35 Dunbar 38, PRP 28 and as Ram pointed out earlier Henry Clay beat Dunbar pretty badly in the regional championship game.

In all honesty, what is the most intriguing part? Honest question here don't yell at me :thumb:

Think from a Trinity fans perspective. I have two or three schools arguing over who is better and none of them are as good as us. The thread should be when is the state gonna compete with Trinity?

I want to get something straight, I'm not here to put down Manual, Male, etc. from Louisville. But these threads of "when can Lexington compete with Louisville" revolves around one team, Trinity. Is Manual better than everyone in Lexington, maybe, maybe not. I think Male was in 06 but I don't think so in 05. Either way who cares. We all are trying to catch Trinity. The Rocks have a nice Divde and Conquer method going here, if I'm the only one who has picked up on it. The state should unite in a common goal of taking the champions out, not bickering for 3 or 4th place.

It's Manual's bowl how could I not mention them?

Well, if building a 3,000 square weightroom for the future of the program which needed money for it doesn't show you how that game helped the program I don't know what does. Dunbar would have gotten 1500 dollars for the bowl game and that money is gone on transportation alone not counting the food the kids eat before the game. They got a home game where they cleared over 5 grand not counting concessions which went into to pay for the new weightroom. Dunbar would have played anyone at home to get the weightroom pot going and too get a win under there build, no different then college teams do. Don't play your toughest game the first of the season. That idea is not new.

I would really like to give a congragulations to Trinity posters on here. You all have the rest of Louisville blind folded or something. You all win state championships, yet the rest of Louisville holds their anger towards Lexington. I don't know how you all did it, but it works like a charm.

Unless Murphreesboro Tennessee just decided not too contact you all then, yes there is the pot calling the kettle black. Because they contacted Dunbar looking for anyone on opening day of the season, and was informeed there is now an opening in Manual's bowl and their coaching staff said they would look into it. Hensley and his staff was not part of the 4-6 team that was scheduled by the old coach. They made a great move to turn a team that was in turmoil just having kids bring out a camera on the field and take pictures in the last game of the season was the low point in Dunbar School History in the 04 Bryan Station game. They made a great move to get their kids motivated to win and they had a great season. Cry all you want too don't put buy out clauses in contracts if you don't want to use them, or make them more money. And for the record Male didn't exactly whack PRP which was a common opponent that year. Buy outs happen all the time, take a guess why Lone Oak was replaced by MBA this year in Dunbar's schedule? These arguements are getting old, Trinity is the champions and I'm tired of arguing who is 4th place or something. If Manual's goal is to just be better than Dunbar, Henry Clay or Whitley County for that matter just keep making points and Trinity will keep laughing why they keep on winning championships.

Pay a team $1,500 for a bowl game which you can get $2,000 at the West Licker County Toilet Bowl against a team who just went 4-6, when that team is trying to get money for a Weightroom to be built. Dunbar played MBA last year and Trinity this year and has a weightroom now, I'm not listening to anything about ducking people. And if I'm not mistaken Dunbar went further in the playoffs in 05 than Male, and Male was not beaten by a Louisville power either. And Male could have played a power from Tennessee which was the replacement for Dunbar but they chose not too, so thats the pot calling the kettle black there.

Trust me, in this case it does.
