A few years ago I'd bet the farm Warren Central wished there had been a provision for going back to normal time when the score closed the gap. the Birds put a running clock up in the second quarter and held on to win 71-69.

Other. 36 points okay but no running clock until halftime. Having 2 1/2 to 3 quarters consist of around 35 plays is silly. How do reserves and less skilled teams improve without actual game time.

It stated out at 45 and was dropped to 36. I might be wrong but I think the mercy rule in Kentucky started in 2001.

Why should it change now. My school played a playoff game there in the early 60's and put it in the end zone on 3 different drives and lost 10-0.
