Not as familiar with Ludlow but know about some of the Ryle players. Mitch McLiesh is a solid defender, very nice range on his shot, cuts well but is most effective shooting the three on the wing, handles/dishes the ball well enough to play the one but will likely start in the 2 position, he is real "gamer". (played well with the Shining Stars this Summer) Clay Coleman is a nice outside shooter, handles the ball well for his size, learning to finish at the basket &rebound better. Experienced player with all the tools, played with the Scott Co. boys this Summer at the highest level of AAU. Tate Nichols suffered by having to deal with the ankle injury last season that limited his devolopment on the court (shut it down early in Summer ball too). That and time at football will hold him back early in season although early exit from playoffs will help. He is a real "big-man" player inside shot blocking and stick-backs; needs to work on foul trouble to get more minutes. He has extended his play (shot, not so much ball-handling) look for him to be a real factor as the season progresses. Overall, Ryle could be a sleeper in the region with real height, good shooting, and decent depth........defense will be the key as to how far they will go.
