Iagree with your point, but from the looks of the picture this was not self defense. The step dad was beaten badly and Knowles could have escaped long before he (the step dad) took the full beating. Now maybe there is more to this, and I hope enerything works out for all parties, but there is no excuse that Knowles beat the step father to that extent IMO.

Doron Lamb and Brandon Knight are considered 2 of the better shooters out there. I do not know how Cal could have answered that need any better. Shooting will not be the problem it was this year. Team chemistry, rebounding, and defense will be some of the bigger concerns.

Harrellson Miller Liggins Hood Kanter Knight Poole Lamb I think this team can be a top 15 team in the country. If Cal adds Jones or Leslie then we could be better, but I think the landing of one of those 2 is critical. If UK has to let Harrellson log many minutes then UK will not be elite IMO. Jones & Leslie are the diffrence between a very good basketball team and a championship contender. (I don't think UK will win the National Championship, but with Jones or Leslie they could be a threat to win it. ie Butler)

I am reading it the same way. Maybe it is not so much the way we are reading, but the way you are typing it. You were acting as though you would be a celebrating if Manning had sexually assaulted someone.

This is all true, but the talent will not improve from last year to this year and Miller was a starter most of the time. Miller has more experience and is further along physically (weight training) than the new comers. I think if new kids are better play them, but it will be hard to un-seat Miller at the starting table IMO.

Hartline does not have the arm to be a starter in the SEC IMO. I also question his leadership abilities when he got benched for Cobb and he threw EVERYONE ELSE under the bus. I have a hard time seeing UK as being more than a doormat for the SEC if Hartline is the man. I also wonder how much this matters because we heard this same stuff when Woodson was passed up by Pulley in the spring. We all know how that worked out. I also question how much confidence the coaching staff has in Hartline. We all heard about how he was ready for the bowl game and he played the same number of snaps as I did. I know Brooks was in charge then, but I bet if Joker had really wanted Hartline on the field he would have got him in some. I wish UK the best of luck and will be pulling for them, but I do not think Hartline is the answer. Of course Joker may know more football than me.

True, but none the less he still needs a big man he can bring off the bench to match up with other bigs in case of foul trouble. I still think that if Harrelson is that big (1st big man off the bench) UK is in trouble.

I think P. Pat deserves to be up there, BUT I do not see how you can hang up Patterson when you do not have Delk or Hayes up there. I think Paterson deserves it, but no more so than the other 2 I mentioned. (I would really like to see all 3 hanging in there)

I do not like our chances with this lineup. I think we would struggle scoring, and any time you have to look at Harrelson as 1st big off the bench spells trouble in my book.

They are not 1 of the best 65 teams, but they earned their right to be there. Just like UNC, VT, Dayton, cincy, & Ole Miss had a chance to do. I don't think everyone and their brother needs to be allowed in the tournament. You should have to earn your way in. I don't see how adding several teams that have had average seasons to a CAHMPIONSHIP tournament strengthens the tournament. Looks like you are watering down the tournament to me.
