That one is perfect. Back when I was in highschool all the Tomcats, Devils, etc. called us "river rats":lol:. Which I guess is true since I could almost throw a baseball in the river from my backyard.

We have been bit hard by the injury bug. I feel even if Farley would've played last week we would be 2-1 let alone if both Barr and Farley would've played. But it's part of the game. I'm sure Oklahoma is saying the same thing we are about their last game.

With injuries that wouldn't hurt Raceland as much as you think. With an exception of a couple that would basically just remove the players on the sidelines in shorts and a jersey.

My brothers senior year in 2005, went into the the game at 1-2. With loss's to Ashland and East Carter. The win was against Rowan Co. But we beat Greenup that same year 22-14 for the first time since either 97 or 96. I'm not sure about 97, I do know we beat them in 96 because we were 10-0 that year. Either way we went into the Greenup at 1-2 and came out with a WIN. So keep those heads up Rams!

Very true, from what I have heard it is much more than Greenup just getting a star player. I hate to see somethng like that mess up his senior year. He is a very good athlete. I hope the best for him.

I wouldnt say worried. When there are potential game changing players that could or could not be playing, questions will always be asked. That goes for both Raceland and Greenup this week. Carter, Barr, and Farley all have the ability to change the outcome of this game drastically.

I'm 90% sure he did not play. Is Barr for sure playing? Because I don't look for him to play this week. But I've been wrong before and would love to be wrong in this case. If he did play how conditioned will he be? Bieng a leg injury would hold him back from continuing to be conditioned I would think.

I know you said no further comment needed but I can see why you think this way Ram. I'm not questioning the Rams talent or skill. I'm questioning the "WANT TO" mentality that is absent right now. They're playing like robots, just going through the motions. IF they play like that Friday: Greenup 24 Raceland 17 However, it is Racelands first home game. And that could maybe spark that heart, fire, and desire we talked about. If the Rams get some swagger about themselves and play with emmotion and come out and WANT TO win this game I say: Raceland 37 Greenup 7

I agree, I meant to put 3-0. But I do see them going 4-0 as long as they stay focused!

I wasn't that impressed with either team. Colerain made alot of mistakes dropped passes in the endzone, and bad throws. I really wasn't impressed with the QB from Colerain. But I did enjoy getting to see high school football on a sunday though! :dancingpa
