Conner will be highly pumped up. I would guess that if West is playing, it will be close. If not, the game could get out of hand unless they have a good backup passer. Conner will not get many yards running the ball vs. Ryle. The Cougars will have to pass to have a chance. Good luck to both teams.

Not correct. If SK loses to Boone but beats Campbell, then SK is 2-3 in the district. If Conner loses to Ryle, they end up at 2-3 in the district. Campbell is currently 2-2 in the district and would be 2-3 if they lose to SK at SK. So, a 3-way tie is possible.

Congrats to Camels. This is the type of win that could be huge for tiebreakers cause Mason will win most of their games in 3A.

I don't see a game where the Birds will be underdogs. Seems like they usually have one game where they are the u-dog. Interesting that they would play Ryle twice. I can't remember that happening recently where two teams play twice. They might be pretty good games next year, however.

Play every game like it is the first game of the district playoffs. They might go undefeated.

Should be a close game with Dixie having 2 weeks to prepare, Homecoming, etc. Could see it going either way but I'll take Dixie by a few points at home.

HC will come to Union mentally prepared and fired up, but Ryle will be mentally prepared and fired up, too. Please don't let me hear about HC not being prepared or fired up or bad play calling, etc., after the game if it goes the Raiders way as it should. Ryle is better than you are assuming, especially on D. HC scoring 27 is highly unlikely. Ryle is better on D than NC.

I think that Campbell would beat Conner 9 of 10 times at Campbell. Thus, no surprise here. Campbell is a good football team, better than Conner. IMO, they will will 7 games this year and make the playoffs as a #3 seed. Conner could easily be 1-3 in the district and out of the playoff hunt if not for an unlikely comeback win vs. SK.

Campbell will win by a couple of TD's at least.

Hats off to Ryle. They played great D on Simpson except on 3 runs. He probably had 130 yards on 3 runs and no net yards on 15 other carries. Miles is an outstanding player. What fun to watch him accelerate. Ryle's O looked better tonight. PK doesn't look good. Too slow on getting to the football. SK must now beat Campbell to have a chance to grab a playoff spot. They did not look like a 6A favorite to me.

No surprise here. Campbell is a good football team.

There is no way SK comes to Ryle and wins by 3 TD's. If it is not close, it will be the Raiders on top. SK can only win if it is close.

That's funny. So, I guess that Conner did not want to show Boone some of those special defensive packages that might have helped Conner to upset the Rebels.

Penalties, especially the type of after-the-play penalties incurred, have nothing to do with the fact that the Camels only gained 140 yards of TO. Camels only score came on a 10-yard drive after a blocked punt. Ryle's defense was VERY much a factor in the Camels losing, just as the Camel defense was VERY much a factor in the Raiders only scoring one TD from an offensive drive. Both defenses played well.

I zoomed in with my periscope to count 10 men on the field.

The Enquirer said 44 yards rushing and 98 yards passing for Campbell. I would say the Raiders were a big part of the nemesis for Campbell. As to lack of penalties, that would be credit to Ryle, not an excuse for losing. Was it the refs fault that Campbell had a lot more penalties?

Sounds like a defensive battle. Congrats to the Raiders. If they can get offense working, they can be pretty good. Camels will be in a must win situation next week vs. Conner.
