I have heard some say he went too high, but I thought it was clean hit but against the rules now......

It's a point of emphasis this year (as it was last year) about defenseless players. It was a clean hit but behind the ball carrier/punter. I am old school and hate the rule but that is 2016 football.

If you watched the game, the OLine stood and watched every play. No linemen on the ground, going after a second level defender or staying on a block until the play was over. Very disappointed in this aspect of Russell's game.

This is the night we honor our past by inducting players, coaches into the Raceland Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be at Saturday @ 3pm in the John Stephens Cultural Arts Center and will also be recognized before the game on the field. Among the honorees will be Coach Randy Vanderhoof.

I'm going with the Home team and the defending State Champs in this one. I haven't seen either team play, just going on what I am hearing.

Did you watch the OLine at all? If Russell doesn't improve upfront, they will struggle offensively.

I had a clear view of this play. The official called the correct call. I hate it for GC but it was correct.
