I am not sure why you are on the attack against any one of us that support the Rams. I believe you need to read all the threads and posts again because, although there may be some "fluff" as you say, but we ( Raceland supporters on BGP's, including Ram) are and continue to be excited about the depth at the skill positions and I still believe in our OL/DL. No team is without holes. I believe that last year's team had holes just as this year's team has holes. I do not believe that we have anymore expectation on this team than does the coaching staff. If you do not believe that, read what Coach Maynard stated in The Independent's football tabloid. He said they expect to be where we were last year (Regional Championship game). As for lame excuses, you are assuming failure. Besides, IF we do not succeed, there will be no excuses from me nor do I believe any other Ram supporter on here. -

If it is that irritating to you, don't read it. The players love it and the coaches say it and the fans make signs with it. Now, that being said, you are not really thinking that posting on these threads actually somehow seeps into our players by some cyber-osmotic action are you? These are for us fans to have some fun and cheer for our teams and poke fun at our friends from other schools. I think that the boys are immpermeable to our jargon. JMO, but if you have some literature from a reliable medical journal, I'd be happy to read up on how BGP posting can actually cause players to play to their potential.:thumb: -

I realized what you did. I WAS TRYING to be funny by changing from Moderator to Adminstrator in my request. I just re-posted because you said, "no". I guess it was not too funny, eh? BTW, thanks for adding the poll. -

Graybeard, I guess we'll see who has the better inside connections because Coup has issued a challenge and we all know I can't give in to it. -

Symmes Valley not available? Ironton will spank the Devils. I just hope Russell avoids injury and lives to play another day. -

What type of defense does Notre Dame play? Are they physical or finesse? Greenup has shown glimpses of understanding what they have to do in order to run this offense but to date the results haven't been too flattering. Maybe, playing a small private school from Portsmouth is just what they need to gain some confidence. -
Raceland/Fleming County predictions

Ram's it is time to refocus and get determined and mean. Fleming County will not be anything like they were last year. They are bigger and stronger, they have a state champion hurdler and they have good return guys. Do not overlook this team. I remember traveling to Flemingsburg when I was in the 7th grade to play the Junior High team. We won that game but it was a war. My 8th grade team won easily at home but that was another story. As for taking care of business, you better do it in the weight room and on the practice field if you expect to do it on Friday night. TCB!!!!! -
Raceland/Fleming County predictions
sidelinedoc replied to mcpapa's topic in KY Football (High School)
Why would I?:idunno: -
Ryan, I really wish he would have played football throughout high school. He was really a good JFL back but for whatever reason, didn't want to play until this year.
-
Why does HHS win this one? Because they are HHS.

Any updates from the Greenup faithful on this situation? Is Carter getting closer to playing? -

I agree totally. I hope everything works out. -
Just my 2 cents, maybe scheduling Ashland and Russell to begin the season is not a great way to try and implement a new offense and new attitude. I am not saying to avoid either, just open a little more easy. JMO.
