Vories coached the Newport Ladycats last season for half of the year, then pursued the job market. Minor is now the coach for the girls basketball team at Holy Cross. Listerman is, to my understanding, the head coach for the Kentucky Thunder. Wolfzorn, as someone said, is in private business. Didn't know that, but I'll believe the previous poster. Am I missing anyone else?

I would assume that Piper is the ace, as he has faced NCC, Boone County, and the championship game in the tournament. However, Scott has done exceptionally well (has yet to give up a run in 13 innings) and Young has done great as well (has only given up 1 ER in two starts). So although Piper may be considered the ace (or not depending on who you speak to), the Tigers have 3 good arms in the rotation.

Not sure who Dayton plays, however I believe Bellevue plays the winner of the St. Henry/Newport game.

So you don't think he could play for an SEC school?

Great game by Lloyd yesterday, they really impressed me. Active at the plate, and very crisp in the field. Congrats to the Jugs

I remember when I was younger always heading down to the track and watching the events all day long. What was once one of the best days in Bellevue has all but been forgotten, which is a shame.

I agree, every small school gets through a tough season or two...Give them two years, they'll be tough.

Well actually, the "melt down" came in the bottom of the 6th, where I think the Tigers had 3 errors if I recall correctly. However, you are right, they made some good plays early in the game, however, they should have made these plays in the 6th as well. Despite the errors, it was a great game by both teams, can't wait to see them play again!
