  1. It is the kids team but I cheer for them..Do you not have a favorite NFL team you call "YOUR TEAM"?
  2. I would just like to thank everyone for the prayers and support, it's been a VERY tough week in R.C but I think this is just a CLASS ACT by everyone on here...From the depth of my heart THANK YOU for your support!!!!!
  3. I agree they need to move back to just a 5a class or just let 2 in per district...and yes that would have left my team out this year so I say this without bias.
  4. Anyone that wants can see a really good video of Luke on WLEX.com.
  5. Just curious why did Casey forfeit against Russell co's JV?...Seems they are very competitive.
  6. We got one more Ellis, Bryons lil brother in 7th grade, and possible a cousin may play next year he will be a sr, so it looks like another 5 yrs of Ellis's...I'm just amazed how coach Cobb does so well with young players, I think he is a heck of a coach!
  7. Better be carefull, You've got S-set and coach Cobb ain't no punk!!
  8. 3TD's?? Maybe if we spotted you guys 2 at the start....Gd ball game Rc got a TD called back on a hold?? S-set had the only turnover of the game to put RC ahead for good...So I guess if you "should have beat us by 3 TD's" you think you can beat Danville and PC and Franklin Simpson?? Is that what I'm hearing???
  9. We might be a bit undersized but best I can remember we played you guys pretty close until the end when sw ran one in late and that was with our QB unable to play D, throw any deep or run because of recent shoulder surgery...Ask Danville fans how bad our game with them might have been if we didn't have our QB to play on defense of run and throw deep. So I think sw still has their work cut out for them, wasn't Danville fans on here talking about winning state a couple of weeks ago???
  10. Congrats to the AD's I hope they run the table,I have a lot of respect for that program. I have to say we played better than I thought we would but at the end Dville showed why they are Danville by taking a long drive and puting the game out of reach. Both teams seemed tired and cramping late...Good luck AD's I hope we gave the crowd a good show anyway....
  11. R.C plays such teams as , Warren East, Franklin Simpson. Pulaski co, and Somerset. Do you think Danville will be the fastest or the best team we play or both??? Just curious on everyones opinion
  12. Looked fairly good against Russell Co but turned the ball over several times. They should get over that, look for a pretty good year for the Warriors, I do think S-set will win in a close one though.
  13. I would say you are probably right, like I said before I just hope we can be competitive.. The way I'm looking at this is what ever our weaknesses are Danville will exploit them and maybe we can correct them before district play...Play the best to see where you stand and go from there. By the way we went to this bowl game last year when we played Mercer co, have to say this is a great event just glad a little school like us has the privilege to play in it!!
  14. Thanks Adopt a Ad, I don't think we can match the AD's with talent but at the same time if we can keep it close it is a game of blocking and tackling.... Maybe RC can make for a good show!
  15. If Wayne co played Danville tough in a scrimage why do you think they will roll over Russell co?? I know we are not in Danville's league but we do have 16 Sr's and a 3 year starter at QB. I guess I'm just curious why we are dead meat when Wayne held there own against Corbin and Danville??Talent wise Russell and Wayne are pretty close from what I seen in last years game....I do think Russell will have trouble with D-vill's speed, But if D-vill is as young as what I've read then they will prob make a few mistakes?? I'm just glad we are invited to such a great bowl game and hope we can be competitive!!
