THe JV was beaten by LCC by two TD's on Monday. (I think that was the score) and the Fresh play tomorrow against the hounds at home. I hear Taylor may have finally found his MOJO again!

I guess I might as well fess up..... I wore the wrong hat to the game. I know it was selfish of me, I didn't want to get my head wet and didn't wear my visor. So I'll take part of the blame. I'll wear it in the snow if needs be from now on. I try not to be superstitious but you're talking to a girl who once wore the same game socks for 6 straight weeks. They could stand up by themselves. :creepy: I hear what you're saying HDE. Breathitt is a very very good football team. It should have been a little better ball game than what we saw. I hope they get to redeem themselves.

I agree. That tunnel missed I don't know how many tackles and the tailgaters couldn't get anything going on offense. I've heard of a lot of reasons for losing a game, but an over zealous fan base is a new one on me. It's great to finally have such good support for our kids in Harlan County. Coach Larkey coaches football and the Bear Nation supports him and his team.:thumb: This was a tough loss, but our kids are still gonna get the support they deserve. One loss doesn't make or break their season. They'll learn from this loss and hopefully have a spark when we see them play again. Go Black Bears!

I hope we can all get your attitiude Bear Paw. My feelings are still hurt from last nights performance. I hope the boys can regroup and go out and redeem themselves. I'm having a hard time eating crow this morning for breakfast. It don't taste good either!

I must have been at the wrong game tonight. I wanted to see the HC Black Bears. They didn't show up tonight. That was hard to sit and watch. Poor Larkey, he must be really disgusted. :cry:

I'm nervous. They are not gonna open the gates to park until 5PM and won't let people in until 5:30PM. This will definately be a community event and should be a great show! I hope that after this first home game that our community & business leaders will recognize the need for a nice big stadium! I'm saying the Black Bears by a touchdown.:ylsuper:

It's at Cawood High School's old field. We don't have a new field....yet. You do NOT want a woman giving you directions, or at least this woman. I'll let somebody else take that one.

I dont think anyone is underestimating Graham or Lee High. The Black Bear coaching staff will have our Bears prepared and ready Friday Night. The Black Bear Nation will be traveling big in support. :ylsuper:

You are correct Bear_Paw. The Graham kid is supersonic. He makes very fast people look not so fast at all. But, the Bears will bring that DEFENSE Friday night and good defense will prevail.

The Black Bears beat the Fleming County team 32-0 and their defense is coming around,better each game, they were down right awesome in this game. Time to get focused on the next game,make the necessary corrections,and go over there Friday night at Lee High and do the same(shut them out too). GO BLACK BEARS.

arrows68, I too hope our QB is okay, I know he came in a couple plays following that and I hope Larkey with a big lead was just being protective. He had a banged up wrist prior to the game. Again, I too hope he is okay.

Very impressive defense tonight stopping Fleming 9 times in the backfield during the first half and probably that many sacks on the QB total for the game. The Fleming QB went out with an injury after a big sack by Calton, hope he is ok. A lot of young Black Bear underclassmen play during the second half. The Black Bear Nation totaled approximately 150 at Fleming tonight despite the obstacles. Go Black Bears.:ylsuper:
