Very impressive defense tonight stopping Fleming 9 times in the backfield during the first half and probably that many sacks on the QB total for the game. The Fleming QB went out with an injury after a big sack by Calton, hope he is ok. A lot of young Black Bear underclassmen play during the second half. The Black Bear Nation totaled approximately 150 at Fleming tonight despite the obstacles. Go Black Bears.:ylsuper:

The Black Bears QB went out as well early in the first quarter hope he is okay.

How did James Phillips do? I'm a big fan of him.

Harlan County is a solid ballclub.

arrows68, I too hope our QB is okay, I know he came in a couple plays following that and I hope Larkey with a big lead was just being protective. He had a banged up wrist prior to the game. Again, I too hope he is okay.

I think Mama Bear is refering to the long drive.

How long of a drive is it? I know it's a long one but just was wondering how far...You guys have a pretty solid team...Congrats on the win...makes for a much nicer drive home...lol

Fleming had some stupid unsportsmanlike penalties tonight that has to stop in order for this team to get better. The coaches should be preaching more discipline but I dont think whats happening. I wonder if Ted Purcell could be lured out of retirement?

Gas prices kept the crowd down for both teams. Not alot of Panther fans in attendance.

Knowing Uncle Tom...(inside thing) I seriously doubt it....and the discipline thing goes far beyond the football field. I'm going to stop before I say something I shouldn't. Good win for Harlan Co.

I couldn't see the Fleming Co. side from where I was but it looked like Harlan Co. had a very nice turnout for such a drive.
