In reading the NCAA rules it looks like they got the call right on the blocking below the waist/crackback rule. Blocking Below the Waist-Clarification: “Crackback” Block

If it was within 5 of the neutral zone the block was fine. It appeared to be about 8 from LOS. Past the 5 yard zone block below waist (it was) has to be from front. It wasn't.
