He deserves it.

I'm a Reds fan and picking Volquez in the NL, but Lincecum isn't far behind. In the AL it's Cliff Lee.

Why, Edison Volquez is having as good a year as a pitcher as Hamilton is a hitter. He could have another 2 wins right now and have 14 at the all-star break, ERA at 2.25 and close to the league lead in K's, it was a win win trade.

I am glad for Josh Hamilton and his story is great, but I feel why should he be rewarded for being a leech on society for 4 years and coming back while players who aviod and just don't get into drugs amoung other things aren't. I understand it's a great story, but he shouldn't be given any special treatment. I am sure he is a good guy now also, just to clear up the fact that I am not bashing him as a Red's fan.

I will give you that, he isn't to blame for that completly, but there are stretches when any and I mean ANY lefty can get him to look like a five year old with a brand new toy called a baseball bat. Then there are times when he is putting the ball in the seats like it's nothing. But more often than not he being just above average as far as all around players go. I would say ok and keep him for about 8 or so million. But if anyone on this thread has the data and smarts to make me believe that 13 to 15 million a year is better spent on Adam Dunn then locking up our young guns (Volquez, Bruce, Votto, Cueto, etc).

All I know is the two apparent Holy Cross QB's were Paul Ritter and Pat Bernard, niether of whom will be playing football let alone QB for us. I got a kick out of it.:lol:

Did or did DANNY GRAVES almost lead the NL in saves one year, saves matter but for closers you must look deeper into the stats to see if they are as good as there number of saves.

Very true, I'm sure there is some team that could use a bonafide leadoff man. But if we are looking to make a run next year, we might want to keep him around as a centerfielder/utility man.

The guy was obviously mad after realizing we have the most wins of all-time and second most championships and thats all that needs to be said. Or if he needs more convicing he can tell me the last time a Tennessee guy was a starter on a World Championship team or a Tennessee guy made the Olympic team.:ylsuper:

Burress should definatly get a look especially ahead of Andre Johnson I don't think he should be so high. But top fifty is high for Plaxico I mean he did catch 12 TD's but only caught 70 balls and just barely over 1000 yards for the season, I can think of two bengals recievers who statistically had better years and at least 3 or 4 others who were better.

That is how it is taught, that no matter how far from God, he is always waiting for you to turn it around. And in these days if a high profile guy like Saul changed, why no give it a try.

Just because your a Giants fan doesn't mean they should be on there ha. Who else merrit's a spot. I am a huge bengals fan and I would love to see TG or big Willie on the list but the fact is they shouldn't be.

Add Shawn Merriman at outside backer. Mike Allstot(bad spelling) at FB. Champ Bailey is still my go to guy to cover someone, but maybe Deanglo Hall.

For me it's pretty much a toss up. But because Brady has done more with less I give it to him, but it's obviously not Peyton's fault he has had a great supporting cast.
