I think he would'a been safe if he would have slid "normal", it looked like he tried to do a barrel roll instead of just sliding. Play of the game was Dunn almost dropping that pop up in front of Aurilla, he drops that and three runs score.

Didnt the reds play a late game in Milwaukee the night before the '99 playoff game? Im pretty sure they were not 100% that game. Id say the biggest egg laid is letting a team that handn't won a world series in over 80 years and had a history of losing the big game sweep you in the 2004 World series.

New Cath ran the no huddle spread almost to perfection late last season.

I watched them play NCC in the playoffs last year, Their Qb impressed me. IF he is back they should be looking pretty good on that end.

The Beechies and NCC are a rivalry, no matter how good one team can be the other always has a chance of winning(Most of the time it has been Beechwood) I'd say if this game was played at the end of last year Ncc wins by two touchdowns. This year im not sure because there are two many question marks at the skills postions.

Best performance i personally have seen would have to be Sam Diehl in the 2005 Class State Championship game...He most of the 4th quarter and still put up huge numbers. 256 passing yards and four touchdown passes. 1 Rush td. :ylsuper:

He still has another year in the weight room to get the muscle he needs before he hits the college turf. :thumb:

460 boys vs 200 boys i would say is one reason. Even if Ncc lets girls in their stands, i think that is one major reason why Cov Cath has such a good fan base. Wasnt Cov Cath voted top 25 toughest places to play in high school by USA today because of their fan base. I thought the Cov Cath students were funny, i was laughing.

Did you miss where i said even NOT in the Cheer section, i said they werent in the stands in general.

Why mostly boys in the ncc student cheering section? prob the same reason why i saw hardly any high school females on cov caths side(not talking about them sitting in the cheer section) at all cheering on their neighbors.

THose numbers are flawed, Cov Cath has 458 guys, Newcath has females included in that number.

IF your old man and uncle played at Notre Dame and they came calling im sure one would be hard pressed not to follow in their footsteps.

woulda, shoulda coulda, they beat Bellevue twice and crushed teams in the playoffs, they deserved their ring.

I think a few ncc freshman classes beat beechwood but Yeagle would always have them ready by their junior and senior years, we will see what happens this year.

They are getting rings, i dont think they will be ready until March and im not sure if there is anything online to show what they look like.

When i saw them play the Breds this year their qb impressed me, if he can get some protection(ncc was all over him) and a few recievers to step up they should be pretty good.
