No dis-respect to Murray but I know the Camels would rather face him than Adkins or Adams. They roughed up Adkins at little the first game but he was by far a better pitcher than Murray. Scott need only focus for the Champ. game as their hitting will win the 1st. two games easily.

Your right TOG, I really do admire your support of their program. Billy Krumpelbeck is a good coach and his former players support that. I hope the best for them and any other team in NKY at this time of the year. I am so tired of the Middle and Southern part of the state and the recognition that they get year in and year out. I know they deserve alot of this because of the past results but there are at least 6 or 7 teams from NKY that belong in the top 25. Good luck to all NKY teams. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Harrison and Clark got hosed. I hope they are deep in the pitching dept. Scott doesnt have to pitch either Adkins or Adams until the final. Scott will run away with the upper bracket.

Cmon TOG You know what the problem is. There is definitely an alumni issue that is in the way. I was not aware the enrollment was that low but I guess this is the reason that they never went back to the GCL. Sorry about the enrollment and I am not too big to say that. It would be nice to see Cov Cath, New Cath, Purcell Marian and Roger Bacon in a different GCL.

Coach Krumps grew up down the street from me in the late 60,s and early 70,s and is from the same type of system at Elder. Some alumni ruin it for everyone and the kids. If you think about it Cov. Cath should be as good as they are year in and year out. If you pull some of the alumni dollars away from the program the kids are evaluated on their talent it would be scary.

What I find amazing is that the Campbell boys took care of business and beat Scott twice and Scott is in the division that they will absolutely annihilate. Oh well !! :confused::confused:

Welcome to the politics of playing High School sports at an all boys school of 1400. I can assure you that there are kids walking around that school who can play as good as alot of the Cov Cath players. Im not saying Luke Maile but alot of the players. When you have the numbers they have its hard not to win. It also comes from teams like the KY Kids 2 years ago and beyond. I find it amazing that the same kids who were making errors years ago still are and everyone acts shocked.:sssh:

Without a doubt one of the best games ever. Good pitching was getting brutalized tonight. I guess we are going to have to move the fences back or change the name of the field to The Launching Pad. Congrats to Scott on the win.

Adkins has signed to play with Thomas More and Woody is still unsigned as far as I know.

I was at the game and standing behind home plate and if anyone was throwing 80mph or more it was Woodruff. Please explain why the scout was talking to the Campbell coaches.

I am a Camel fan and I would certainly like for them to win but if they dont I hope whoever does represents the 10th region well in the state toournament. The 10th region just doesnt seem to garner any respect in NKY and I dont understand it. So this is to whoever wins. Good Luck and please represent the 10th proudly.:ylsuper:

The game was called due to rain and in case you were wondering we support our own county. I am going to say this for the last time,There was no game according to KHSAA. By the way what schools in Boone County need it because you dont pay for anything or any other school outside of your county.

Nobody was saying that the Ryle baseball team was not good. The only message that was being stressed was that due to bad weather the game should have been called to keep someone from getting hurt. I believe there were post's saying the Campbell coach was begging the umps to call the game and how macho it is to play ball when the weather had all but 2 or 3 Campbell County fans attempting to watch from their vehicles. The comment about the backstop is go look at any softball park in the tri state and this is what you will find. There are some softball parks that are nicer than this. With the tax base that you find in Union I would certainly hope that this will improve.

You know Diamond Dandy I can see by the amount of post's that you have that you love to belittle what people have to write or say. I dont know what team that you support and really dont care. Yes I am a Campbell County fan but I also support any school in NKY that does well either locally or at the district , regional or state level. My comments about CCHS outfielders are from being at their games and observing their play. They do not come from reading post's on Bluegrass Preps and deciding to belittle not only what I have to say but Campbell County's baseball program as well. Say or think what you like about me but leave the team alone.

On any given night anyone can be beat.

Covington Catholic did not exploit the outfield. The hit the ball hard in the gaps and over the fence. They still are my choice for best outfield in NKY.

I am glad to see that your reading skills have room to develop. I believe I said the best outfield that I have seen in the last 35 years. That does not mean ever and certainly people that I have not seen play.

I believe you are the only person trash talking. Covington Catholic is definitely #1 in NKY. They took advantage of every opportunity the Camels gave them. Believe me there were many. Congrats to Cov Cath they are the real deal.
