The Camels game tonight against Bellevue has been change for some reason that I am unaware of, so instead they will play their senior night against Cov Cath at 7 at Campbell Co. Anyone have any thoughts on this game?

Tough Senior Night game - Cov Cath coming off a disappointing weekend loss might be pretty hungry.

Good chance for the Camels to get a solid when. I assume Woodruff will pitch.

They came to play and the Camels didnt. No excuses they outhit and outplayed the Camels in every facet of the game. Solid proof that they are the # 1 team in NKY. The score was 12-2 in 6 innings. The Camels better get it together before district's next week.

I'am assuming that CCH hit some balls in places that the best outfield ever just couldn't get to.

I am glad to see that your reading skills have room to develop. I believe I said the best outfield that I have seen in the last 35 years. That does not mean ever and certainly people that I have not seen play.

Covington Catholic did not exploit the outfield. The hit the ball hard in the gaps and over the fence. They still are my choice for best outfield in NKY.

You know Diamond Dandy I can see by the amount of post's that you have that you love to belittle what people have to write or say. I dont know what team that you support and really dont care. Yes I am a Campbell County fan but I also support any school in NKY that does well either locally or at the district , regional or state level. My comments about CCHS outfielders are from being at their games and observing their play. They do not come from reading post's on Bluegrass Preps and deciding to belittle not only what I have to say but Campbell County's baseball program as well. Say or think what you like about me but leave the team alone.

Really? Does this include Ryle High School, whom you belittled because of their supposedly inferior backstop? :lol:

Nobody was saying that the Ryle baseball team was not good. The only message that was being stressed was that due to bad weather the game should have been called to keep someone from getting hurt. I believe there were post's saying the Campbell coach was begging the umps to call the game and how macho it is to play ball when the weather had all but 2 or 3 Campbell County fans attempting to watch from their vehicles. The comment about the backstop is go look at any softball park in the tri state and this is what you will find. There are some softball parks that are nicer than this. With the tax base that you find in Union I would certainly hope that this will improve.

Of course you support Ryle, they beat your Camels 8-2 and you support good baseball. Regarding the tax base....you need to study up. Just because we collect more doesn't mean we get to keep it. Most of it goes to schools who need it. Some of the Union dollars could have paid for that Major League stadium over at Campbell Co.

The game was called due to rain and in case you were wondering we support our own county. I am going to say this for the last time,There was no game according to KHSAA. By the way what schools in Boone County need it because you dont pay for anything or any other school outside of your county.
