Sorry Mark Hinkle I guess I am just a little upset still from the game.

A weekend tournament to pickup some wins and batting practice is not the Regional tournament. Nobody said anything about the fences. Dont you find it amazing that Scott and Bourbon had about 13 errors the other night and last night there were 9 - 10. I have not seen that many errors all year in any game or 2 games anywhere else.:sssh:

Call me what you want but I am sure that if the play in the top of the second had gone the other way and Campbell wins you would not be happy yourself. Yes the score was 14-2 but it was not over until the 6th inning. Momentum in sports is everything and if you have ever played any sports you would know that. The play at home in the 2nd inning just deflated anything that Campbell was attemting to do. Like I said earlier if he makes the right call Campbell has tied the game 1-1 with a runner on 1st and 3rd with nobody out. You cant tell me that play did not ruin the game. With a runner on third I have no doubt they would have scored and at the time Harrison had just made 2 errors. Who is to say it would not have continued.

What is a shame is that Region 9 gets to play at Champion Window Field with umpires that do a good job. The 10th region has to play at the Hilltop Homerville Coach Mac has 800 wins dump with all of the fixins including the umps. That is not a place deserving of a regional championship game. :mad::mad::mad::fire::fire::fire:

You know if you make a bad call on an insignificant play that doesnt effect anything at the time then Ok. Sports in general are affected by momentum. A play like that gave Harrison time to regroup after making some bad plays themselves. I am not harping on anything and I believe the way Martin was pitching that he would have been very tough to beat but when you take the momentum away that quick anything could have happened. One more thing the PA announcer mis pronounced 7 out of nine names. You know tough to pronounce names like Fran zen LAUER Wheeler Stu der Dry er. Wow!!!

They faced a very good pitcher in Brandon Martin. Maybe the best they faced all year. I just want to thank Jordan, Andy, Chris, Ben, Austin, Justin, Cory for a very memorable season. You guys played well and definitely deserved the call at home plate to be right but ok. I hope that you guys can continue to play summer ball or whatever because I too know what it is like to play your last high school game with all of you friends. You guys deserved better than this. Nobody was even talking about tonight. By the way lets hear your unbiased take on this evenings game because I am sure we wont hear about the play at plate in the second inning and no I am not talking about the lights.

Good job to Boyle and West Jess. I look forward to seeing the winner play at Campbell County next week.

Martin is a very good pitcher and is the reason the Camels bats were silent. He should do very well at the next level. The play at the plate in the second inning just took all the momentum out of Campbell County's sails. The Umpire at home is without a doubt either blind or disoriented. The Camel runner was safe by a mile and this is without a doubt the biggest turning point in this game. If he had not made such a bad call the score would have been tied 1-1 with a runner on 1st and 3rd with nobody out. This was a shame and the ump knew this. You know when the Karma comes rolling around you need to remember these things.

The lights are terrible!!!!!!

Just came back from the Harrison vs Clark Co. and the Campbell Vs St Pats games. I was looking forward to seeing Harrisons facility and I was very impressed with the atmosphere. What a place to watch a ballgame. This place is one of the nicest places to watch a ballgame for so many reasons. The fans on the hill, the huge scoreboard, being able to overhear the game being broadcast over the radio and the seating all over the field. The announcer doing a decent job as well. Now with all of this good let me say that the infield looks kept very well. The lighting is Shamefull and why the KHSAA allows any game to be played there under the lights is beyond me. Did I say Shameful no it is pathetic. I never seen so many dark spots on a field in my life. The poles are way too short which causes players to lose the ball in the lights. I will say that if there were some research done on the games played there over the years Harrisons record is probably 90% or better because of this. When a player is used to playing on a field with good lighting and they come and play here I would expect anything to happen. Shame on the people who allocate the funds for this field. Its quite obvious it is spent on other things ( concession area and rest rooms ).:fire:

He should have had his rest and ice 65 pitches before that. I dont care who is pitching and how strong that he thinks he is throwing and feeling. It is the coach's responsibility to remove him.

People lived harder lives as there were not all of the things that we take for granted. They also ate better and were men way before their time. Kids actually had chores that they had to do. You cannot compare the two. I mean a 10th regional player to Woody Fryman and Nolan Ryan, WOW. The Coach needs some serious education about the game of baseball.

Isler throws smoke and Nutini is an extremely accomplished pitcher who only throws his fastball about 70-75mph. Nutini has been pitching a long time and has a variety of pitches that he mixes very well. He also keeps the ball down and rarely and I mean rarely makes a mistake.

I agree if Isler doesnt pitch.

The pitching issue is correct.

It means that Cov Cath will win. I want Dixie to win but it's not going to happen.

Cov Cath has been hitting the ball all year including today. I would like to see Dixie win but without Nichols pitching No Chance !!!!!
