I know in this 07-08 season they lost to Mason in regional finals, 06-07 lost to Harrison in finals, 05-06 lost to Mason in finals, 04-05 lost to Mason in finals, 02-03 actually was last Camel team to win Region, before that I am not certain as well as not sure about 03-04, so you very well could be on target there.

Austin Studer is that lone returnee, and he is a very good player (LF). . Justin Franzen has played Center all 3 years and is a very good polayer and lefty (Freshman, then 2 years JV) . . Andy Franzen, Ben Dreyer and Jon Verst are the other seniors who could play in the outfield. Andy actually started a lot of games in Right, as well as batted in the 2 hole.

Matt Coffman played for the Kentucky Kings this summer . . and the shortstop spot will be an interesting one this year for the Camels. The whole infield will be interesting on who plays where. Their speed in the outfield in undeniable. Also a JV semi-final appearance is not their goal, they want a trip and chance for regional title

I said the winning is coming, and this year is what the Camels needed. My opinion was just that they can run on any team and have potential on offense to blow good teams out. I think sometimes they were too slow oriented and out of rhythm with kids fearing making a mistake and being pulled, but confidence is coming and it's looking very positive!

And they are better than their record! Their losses to LCA, CovCath even Holmes and Boone were very winnable games . . if Code gets his kids to play hard and their best, success will come. The one thing I agree with is sometimes they are too structured instead of just using their talent, improvement will keep coming!
