Not everyone. Maybe everyone but Greenup. East is a very good team, but Greenup mercy ruled them. And in my opinion they havent really beaten any good teams. They have alot of easy games on their schedule that they should be changed for better talented teams if they want to make a run at the regional title.

Who pitched for both teams? I figured Lawrence would have beaten them by more than 1.

My statement was they had no chance of winning if Greenup would have hit the ball like they could and they didnt so they had a chance of winning.

Owen County had no chance of winning that game if Greenup would had played to their potential by hittting the ball. They hit poorly and committed many errors, ecspecialy late ones that almost cost them the game.

It will come down to who is on the mound for either team. Has anyone heard who will be on the mound for either Boyd or Greenup?

From the Ashalnd Daily- Greenup- Craft 3-3, Reed 2-3, Logan 2-3, Greenslate 2-2, Grubb 1-1, Chaffins 1-2. The Muskies went the whole game with out striking out. Fairview- Tyson Greene 2-3, Matt Jones and Casey Clark both contributed with first inning singles. W- Smith L- Evans

I believe he showed great leadership in this game. Yea, when Craft came in and gave up the lead he got a little bit frusturated, but who didnt. He was in front of home plate talking to his infielders before every pitch this game to. Also, I did not see him throwing equpiment or ranting at the pitchers.

Seems to be pitching at Raceland thats been hurting them. Their pitching needs to step up for them to be a top ten team in the region. They have a couple of underclassman in Bobby McKee, Daniel Jones, Josh Reed, who are all everyday players.

Logan may not have the size but he can block the ball better than anybody around. He also has a better arm than that of Tyler Backs and can hit the ball much better.

Lewis gets it within 2 runs in the 5th but Greenups bats got hot again. Staten went 4-4, Craft 3-4, Grubb 1-1 with a homerun, Logan 1-2, And Hieneman and Reed also added a hit. Greenslate got the W, pitching 2 innings adding 5 K's. Martin came in and had 2 good innings with Hardin following allowing 5 runs.

Best catcher in the region?

Yes he is and Greenup has a really good pitching staff. Greenslate had 11 k's vs. the number 4 team in the state, Apollo. Martin and Hardin also pitched complete games while down in Florida, while hardin struck out 8. Congrats Tyler.:dancingpa

Reed homers twice leading the musketeers tonight. Logan also hit a 2 run shot in the 5th to end the game. Greenslate got the win while pitching 3 innings.

Not a RH hater either, but Elliott and West Carter are not very good teams. Give Rose Hill a little credit for beating them, but they will be considered a top ten team when they can beat a Fairview, or a Russell.

Greenups players, I believe don't play Babe Ruth. The competition in Babe Ruth isnt as good as that in Legion ball and summer traveling teams.

I have heard some things about Fraley going there. Is this true?
