Maybe someone just had a bad game. Coach's from across the state love to come to the 10th and 11th region to play tornaments. They know that they are going to get the best referee's when they come.

The 10th and 11th region known as the Bluegrass Basketball Association for the referee's is considered the "Best" group of referee's in the state of Kentucky. The association could cover the state tournament for the KHSAA because they have that many referee's that are good enough to call the state tournament!

You are right, John Chamberlain has not called this year. He took a leave of absence for this year.

Tayler played a super game! I was impressed by the way Pendleton Co. never gave up. They played very hard and never quit.

It is hard to beat any team 3 games in a row. Doesn't matter who it is.

My two cents worth for what its worth, yes the Lady Saints or a couple of other teams on a given night that play a good 4 quarters as good as they can play can beat anyone in the 10th region. Montgomery Co. has a great team and will be hard to beat, but it can be done. Any night any team can be off and be upset at this level.

If St Pat plays the way they can play it should be a win for them. They have to play 4 quarters, though.

I told myself I was not going to comment on this game. That didn't last long. First of all, I remember in 86-87 season Mason beat us (St Pat by 30 to 40 points in regular season) we drew Mason for Dist. tourn. in a 3 team dist. we had the upset of the year! Mason was a top 5 team all year in the state and went on to win the reg. tourn. and played on Sat. morning at state, they had a very good team, but that was the first time we had beat them. For tonights game, I was very impressed with Mason! When they got down 10 pts they fought back and never gave up. It was a good high school girls game to watch. I wish both teams good luck the rest of the way.

In my 25 plus years of being around basketball at the high school or college level did I ever think that a player was "coached" to be dirty and try to hurt another player. I have thrown out players that was dirty, but never threw one out because I thought a coach told him to do it.

This is a GREAT tournament! I made the comment last fall when it was announced that they were going to start a volleyball All A state tournament and in time it would be one of the best volleyball tournaments in the state. Stan Steidel and his staff is very good at what they do and great to work for and with!

Just got a call Deming wins in All A semi-final game.

The two games that stands out for me are the Trigg Co. and Metcalfe Co. game on a Thurs. afternoon with a packed house and St. Henry and Rose Hill championship game. You will have to figure out why these two are special to me.:banana:

In are hard fought game at St Pat tonight the Lady Saints won in overtime 63 to 59. St Pat was up 7 at halftime and had to make a come back in the final minutes to tie the game and went on to win in overtime. Holmes had one of the quickest point guards that I have seen in a long time and two post players that went 6'. I was proud of the Lady Saints to come back in that 4th quarter to send the game into overtime.

You are right! She would have been the MVP. I thought that she was the best player that we have played against all year.
