ladiesbballcoach Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Lots of 3's made tonight in Falmouth. Tayler Black set a school record for made 3's in a game with 7. All in the 2nd half. 26 points in the half, 28 for the game. Pendleton hit 11 of 19 for the game. But too many turnovers led to too many Saints' points and St. Pat gets the win.
sportsfan2008 Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Tayler played a super game! I was impressed by the way Pendleton Co. never gave up. They played very hard and never quit.
thomasmoredad Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Tayler had a super game. She was wide open on some shots but also made a few with a hand in her face or the defense charging, very impressive game for her. St Patrick on the other hand trailed in the beginning another slow start, then built a 17 point lead. Pendleton cut the lead to 3 before St Patrick pushed it back to 10 and finally won by 5. St. Patrick has shown in the last two games they can come from behind, but somehow they need to learn to finish a game.
Big Daddy Bear Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Wow. nearly a chughole for the Saints down on #27.

I sat by the St. Patrick bench and I can tell you that was the coach's message to her team as Pendleton's 3 point barrage brought them back into the game.

Would it need to be edited for BGP? Edited February 3, 2009 by Ram Rule 13
thomasmoredad Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Would it need to be edited for BGP? NO!!!!!! Unlike a lot of other coaches I have been around Coach Douglas does not need to use profanity to get her point across to the girls. That may have happened in the past but it does not happen now. I think that is a low blow even suggesting that she would.
kysportsfan4life Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 The Lady Saints seem to be on a roll at the right time of the season.

And yes, it WOULD have happened in the past.

STRIKE3 Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Let's give the recognition/discussion to the Players and the game.

ladiesbballcoach Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Would it need to be edited for BGP? Not at all. I saw her do or say nothing wrong at any point in the game.
