BB has been playing much better since the last time they met. I'll say BB by 9.

Not sure on their younger players, but if anyone wants to check them out, there is a small school freshman and JV tournement at Bellevue Sat afternoon, Monday evening and Wednesday evening. Teams include Bellevue, Silver Grove, Ludlow, Dayton, Calvary and Villa. I think that is it. Sorry if I left a school out.

Just in, just heard. I have No idea what the game times and dates are (someone can help me out), but here it is. Dixie vs. Lloyd Ludlow vs. Villa Same for both boys and girls. All games are played at Ludlow. For the Boys in Regular Season: Dixie beat Lloyd by three at Dixie. Villa beat Ludlow on three different occassions, by 3 in OT, by 13 in the All A, and by 6. Should be a couple of good games. Good Luck to all teams.

"Brian Romes will dominate Stephen Love, and Trey Beuttel will handle Blake Bryan with ease as he did the first game. None of Villa's other players will be a factor at all. Hall will have a great game." Hall having a great game is about all you got right. Love and Bryan were each in the 20's. Hall had 33. Beuttel had 18 and Romes had 14. Villa had a 14 point lead at half time. Beechwood came back in the third. Villa was up four going into the fourth. Game went to OT, where Beechwood was able to take control. Both teams had foul trouble. Villa had three guys foul out and Beechwood had one, maybe two. It was really a great game to watch. Congrats to Beechwood on the win and the undefeated DIII season. Congrats to Villa for playing a good game and making Beechwood earn it. It's nice to see that "mediocre" Villa team come out and give Beechwood all they could handle.

Final

Different story now with Romes back. Villa is really good for Villa. But Beechwood is just better, they have more athletes and are a deeper team. Beechwood by 14. Good Luck to both teams!

He did play for them, I've seen him reach double digit scoring a couple times this year. Don't know if he is playing yet for Lloyd, but he has transfered.

How is this possible. They got Tyler from Dixie, a player from Williamstown, and Dunn from Ludlow. Anyone else think this is strange?

Lloyd and Brossart should both beat them. Deming should win the rest.

It was not on the schedule. Villa was supposed to play collegiate, but collegiate made it to state in the All A. Villa just came out on fire. They didn't miss a shot until 1:30 left in the first quarter. Love and Bryan each had 5 three's at halftime.

:laugh: Ha. Anyway... They should be able to do it. Calvary or Villa might have a chance. Calvary just upset Villa this week after Villa beat them pretty bad earlier this year, so I have to think Calvary is playing better. Also, Villa played them close last time, Villa led after three quarters. However, Romes was not playing then, so I have to believe that Beechwood will in fact run the table. Good luck to all teams trying though!

It will be very hard for Villa to pull the upset. The only thing they have going for them is that they are probably really fired up for the game. Looking back on Villa's history, this is probably the biggest game they have ever played. They have been pretty bad for a long time, and haven't had much to play for. They probably woln't win, but I do give them some credit for starting to be a respectable team. Love and Bryan will each have to have phenominal games and all those roll players will really have to step it up. Villa will have to have just about everything go in their favor in order to pull this one out. Love and Bryan will probably be the best two offensive players on the court, but St. Henrys 12 guys will be the be the best 12 defenders on both teams. Defense always prevails. Who knows though, thats why you play the game. Stranger things have happened. With that said, I'll still take St. Henry by 12.

St. Henry D is very good. It is what they pride themselves on and it will be the difference in the game.

Wouldn't that be crazy if the finals were Beechwood and Villa!

:lol: Doesn't make much sense. 1: Beechwood is smaller than NCC. NCC's center should have a field day. 2: I have never seen Pangallo get worn down, he will be the quickest and fastest player on the court. I stand by my prediction.

NCC by 14. They know Beechwood can play, they woln't come out flat like Holy Cross did. Plus, NCC has several weapons, Romes can't guard them all.
