John Hardin is a top ten team. They should at least be in the #10 spot, if not higher.

I've heard the same thing about John Hardin this year. They probably won't win a game.

JH will be in the State Semi-final, and has a great shot at Papa Johns. They did lose some great players, but they have the depth to reload this year. Not to mention their QB will be back (20 TDS with only 3ints/1200 yds). The question is, who will JH face in the Semi-final? Probably B.G.

I heard that they are going to cancel the Ray Adams Classic because the KHSAA won't let them play a day early. They won't make an exception. I was looking forward to a Thursday night game.

They lose a great running back (Denham) and 3 of 4 of their D-line that was very good this year. They still have a solid Jr. QB and lots of speed in the backfield. Question mark on O is the O-line. Def. the sec. will be better with some senior experience and the LB core will be strong. The question mark will be the D-line. I'm predicting another strong season with a deep run in the play-offs, maybe even a trip to the carpet. Not sure about Brown, but hopefully he will pull a Paterno.

I agree, CC should be high on the list. There are a lot of teams that could be mentioned in the top five, that's my point. 5A is a more competitive class because of depth. I just put some teams out there to start the discussion.

Since we have a 6A thread lets start a 5A thread. I think this is the most interesting class when it comes to competition for a State title. You have several teams that are legitimate threats to win the final, instead of just two as in 6A. My top five: 1. Highlands 2. John Hardin 3. Bowling Green 4. Johnson Central 5. Owensboro

Why even start a thread like this. It's going to be X or T. I'll go out on a limb and say that T wins the Reg. season match up and X will win the post season match up this year.

Mark was a back up QB at UK behind Couch then Bonner. He then became a GA at UK under Morris and went to Baylor for a couple of seasons. Came back to KY and took over a W.C. program that was down. The talent at W.C. is not the greatest, he has done a great job there with what he has. He is a great coach and even better man. L.C. would be lucky to get a coach like Perry. Not sure if he is even looking at the L.C. job but if he is, he should be at the top of the list.

Etown did a really good job running the system back in 2002-2004. They made it to the State finals in 03 but did not win. I think they are running it again now that Todd is the HC there. Central Hardin is also running it with Mike Lawson, they looked good at times this year and will be much better next season. It's a fun offense to watch when it's clicking.
