I just started my spring break here at WKU and would love nothing more than to see South Laurel make it back to Rupp and for my Toppers to win the SBC tourney.

Well as I have stated many times before you can't beat good coaching Steve Wright can flatout get it done.

I've said it before and I'll say it again as long as Steve Wright is the coach at South Laurel they will always have an advantage over everyone in the 13th region. South takes this one on the way to going back to Rupp by 16

They don't really go by where your from all that much just try to balance out the teams Mike Beasley was placed on the west team last year he played from a prep team from New York

Souths on a row and I see South showing that they haven't fallen off by taking care of the cross town rivalry once again. Im here in Bowling green at WKU and plan on attending the game friday night don't have classes friday so plan on leaving tomorrow to come home to good ole London.

Im not sure why WKU hasn't looked at this kid.

One of the best parts about the Frank Spencer tournament it was sponsered by Nike which ment they paid for everything from plane tickets to the food we ate to the hotel stay.

I know when I was at South Laurel as a student manager. We went to many different tournaments that allowed us to stay overnight. The Frank Spencer Holiday Classic was my favorite it was held in Winston Salem, NC . We had a great time the first year was awesome going in as the underdogs and winning the tournament. Last year returning as the champions wasn't as much fun. All in all great times though.

Steve Wright - South Laurel

not seeing a lot of minutes as of yet alotta that steaming from an injury at the first of the season. He is now fine and should come off the bench more to get a couple mins a game. Playing as a freshman can be difficult but ty seems to be adjusting just fine.

A surprise appearance by former south laurel great Ty Proffitt set the mood in the locker room before the game.
