I'll go against the odds here and pick A-town by 4. I have a feeling they will bring their defense and try to get some respect back after the blow-out in the holiday classic.

What happened to TEAM? Living in a society where parents support their kids quitting or transferring is hurting them in the long run. They will grow up thinking it's ok to quit their job, marriage, etc...I miss the role players who play 100% every night even if they only get a few minutes of playing time and don't score. There is no more passion like that, we only see five kids trying to out shine one another instead of playing together to get a win for their school.

How do you feel this one will play out? Deming punished Augusta in their last meeting but had a battle in the first meeting. Did Augusta just have an off night in the last game they played??

I have seen a coach bench his starters for the first three minutes of a game because of a lack of effort in practice. However, this didn't result in a loss as the starters came out fired up and proved why they were the starters. Also, the team they were up against wasn't a strong competitor and the game wasn't anywhere near tournament time.

I give St Pat all of the credit they deserve and wouldn't take an ounce of deserving respect away from them or any other team for that matter. I think you took my post the wrong way. I was simply stating the fact that the original stats posted could be incorrect since ATownPride and I had different numbers and saw an honest mistake in the spelling of the players names. That alone made me question who's stats were correct but you're right, it doesn't matter. The important thing is that we praise both teams for a great effort. With that being said, I apologize and appreciate anyone who takes the time to post stats.

It didn't seem like 11 were shot but I was going by the stats posted by BigBlueInsanity...obviously they are incorrect as Hargett hasn't played and there isn't a Cribbs on the team

A disappointing final score from the Panthers. Too bad the 3's weren't falling (1 for 11) Best of luck to the Saints, they have earned their spot considering the strength of their opponets as opposed to other teams in the class A tourney.

How could you argue this? Miller is in a class of his own! Is anyone else capable of taking over a game single handedly like he did in the 4th quarter against Lexington Catholic?

Both teams will come with their A game but I think Coach Kelsch and his crew will get the W when it counts. Augusta seems to thrive on beating the Patties in tournament time and really takes it to another level... Panthers- 70 Saints- 66

Does anyone realize that Mofford has had a double double in 5 of the first 6 games this season?! It's good to see A-Town with a BIG man who can put up BIG numbers! Congrats to the Panthers!
